President Museveni Refused to Meet Riek Machar’s Delegation in Kampala

“Our high level delegation to Kampala led by the Deputy Chairman, General Alfred Ladu Gore, has returned to Addis Ababa safely on Monday evening after spending the whole day in the Entebbe Airport. The Ugandan government refused to receive them despite President Museveni himself having made the request for a meeting. The Ugandan embassy in Addis Ababa also facilitated the travel and had informed the government accordingly. Thanks to the media for publishing and broadcasting the visit to the public. Otherwise we wouldn’t have known what would have happened to them if the visit was made a secret.”
