longest time ago, Nhialic,
The Creator the God
Created Garangdit, the son of mud
his wife Abukdit ,the daughter of crane
Ordained Oxpecker the yellow black eye bird
As priestess and gave her piece of broken gourd
he told her
‘’ if mankind aged and die, burry him or her’’
She, oxpecker will throw piece of gourd in River
If enters water, come up and floats
She, priestess will fly to highest altitude
and prays, proclaims in deepest voice
‘’O Nhialic, the Creator
May mankind resurrect, live again on earth
Like piece of gourd that float again on water’’
Nhialic, the God gave this message to oxpecker,
Priestess and went to Nhial, his home
in hidden and unknown direction
On earth when mankind die
Is buried and oxpecker priestess performed
Piece of gourd ritual
Mankind resurrect and no death forever then
One day man set forest on fire
Fire burned oxpecker water droplike nest on tree
Six eggs of oxpecker burned in nest on tree
Mourning her eggs ,
oxpecker burned piece of gourd in funeral rite in revenge
and Never informed mankind
Days later man died and buried
Relatives sent oxpecker the, priestess to perform rite
oxpecker went and picked piece of shard of pot
And threw in River, shard of pot sank
In water, she flew in highest altitude
Prayed and proclaimed in deepest voice
‘’ O Nhialic the Creator
May mankind die and never come to live
On earth again like this shard of pot
that NEVER come back from water’’
There came death forever
oxpecker flew to wild became wild bird
Nhialic never came from Nhial
