REMNASA is ready to topple Salva Kirr’s Administration militarily

May 19, 2015 (SSB)  —  The Revolutionary Movement for the National Salvation (REMNASA) is ready to use his military option to topple the regime of the SPLM under leadership of Salva Kirr; should SPLM insists to prolong his about to expire mandate, to remain in power illegal beyond July 8th, 2015.

The illegal extension of the SPLM administration for three (3) years is unacceptable – because this may indirectly mean prolongation of the sufferings of the vast population of south Sudanese under dictatorial, corrupt, visionless and tribal regime of SPLM under Salva Kirr; that will cost South Sudan more than envisioned military intervention to stop SPLM administration.

The prolongation of SPLM administration under leadership of Salva Kirr is simple political strategies of SPLM for survival, and continuity to milky the nation for their individuals political cadres benefits.

The prolongation of the SPLM administration is illegal because the it is not in the interests of the south Sudanese as the National Legislative Assemble has no credibility has it is not people’s parliament but as SPLM parliament based on facts that, almost 75% are the members are SPLM cadres; beside that, the few opposition parties in the National Legislative Assemble are corrupted and therefore no longer represent the interests of the people but their individual party’s cadres interests – who are already bribed with positions in the failed regime of the SPLM. Thus, the oppositions forces in the National Legislative Assemble could not oppose the prolongation to second it because this is to indirectly second their survival also within the ranks and structure of SPLM Administration.

The reason for the prolongation of SPLM regime in South Sudan is by what so ever reason not for National Interests but for the interests of the SPLM – to buy time to resolve her family problems on the expense of the Nation.

We are talking of one organization struggling against herself; (SPLM against SPLM); how can we consider that as national problems? The true national problems are what we as nation have against SPLM’s administrations that are inflicting sufferings on this nation. The national problem is the corruption, dictatorship, tribalism, poverty and lack of social services which are the making of the SPLM and these are what we are against it that caused us to be against SPLM because it is what they have lend us into due to lack of leadership and national vision.

Therefore, whether SPLM families Peace talks mediates by IGAD and partners is going on or not; whether the Peace talks is successful or not; what we need is a new regime not under SPLM so as to represent the interests of the people.

The establishment of the new regime of interim period should be through consensus by all political parties, civil society organizations as well religious institutions – that needs to be called urgently before the SPLM’s regime mandate expires this July – so as to dissolve the regime of SPLM under leadership of Salva Kirr, and to establish a new national democratic, broad based Multi-party government of the people.

If SPLM is not ready to reach consensus with people, then we are more than ready to use full military means to bring that desired regime change any time from now.

REMNASA is already engaging with various political and civil societies – including patriotic military officers for the cause of actions.

We are therefore, appealing to all patriotic citizens to wake up and fight for our freedoms that will only come after SPLM regime is toppled.

By Col. John Sunday Martin

Secretary for Information and Documentation;

The official Spokesman of the REMNASA

For we are subjected to act against the government of our own

In such a manner, not because we do not believe in peaceful means;

But because this is the only possible option we have at hand to save our Nation. Therefore, we never armed ourselves against any individual or tribe,

But against policies and practices that affects us all as a Nation.

Foreword

Democracy is a seed that we plants in order to harvest good governance and rule of law, justices and rights for human rights that warrants happiness to all citizens. Therefore you cannot plant a seed in an environment that is not cultivated, or unsuitable for the seed to sprout; so we cannot think of democracy in south Sudan in face of regime that is like thorn that has created unsuitable land for germination of seeds of democracy.

If we need democracy, then we need to remove SPLM first so as to create suitable environment for enhancement of democracy that is foundation of good governance and rule of Law.

Indeed; after 15 years in power, still no signs of democracy, justices, rule of law and good governance in south Sudan. SPLM became in defiance a major enemy of democracy, peace, justices, rule of law and good governance, as well social development, and the state of South Sudan to date is weary due to staid records of human rights violation, and crime against humanity.

The problems of south Sudan is real; we are seeing it, feeling it and hearing it; so we cannot attempt to deny or run away from it; just as we cannot also deny or run away from calls for regime change in South Sudan because the real reasons for calling for regime change are real. We need regime change to set the innocent souls in South Sudan free from deteriorating inhuman situations, corruptions, injustices, and bad governance and rule of Law.

This pamphlet, “Why SPLM’s Regime Must be Toppled” is reasoning of REMNASA to help us understand the pathetic state of governance in south Sudan for the reasoning of the need for regime change that REMNASA is spearheading.

Revolution is here and therefore, be for revolution to save innocent souls from perishing from SPLM’s Regime.

With Best Revolutionary Regards

Spokesman of REMNASA

The historical background of SPLM

Our struggle is political struggle; it is not a struggle against any individuals or political organization in our society, but against odd policies and practices that are destructive to our National Development, Unity, Peace and Security. Of course, these very odd policies and practices of the SPLM – that is lending South Sudan to failed state, and inspired sufferings of our citizens.

To understand the odd policies and practices of the SPLM, it requires us to have look at the historical background of the organization called the Sudan people’s Liberation Movement (SPLM), to determine whether we have hope to address our national problems from within the organization as former SPLM cadres and members, or it requires us to move first out from the circle of the organization to address our national problems from external – adopting to all options, including armed struggle as we have resorted to, on 19 January, 2015.

The Sudan People’s Liberation Movement is political wing of the former South Sudan based Armed guerilla movement , the Sudan People’s Liberation Army that fought unsuccessfully, against four various regimes in Khartoum since 1983. SPLA/M was incepted as result of a mutiny by southern members of the Sudanese Army Force (SAF) from Anya-nya, stationed at Bor Military barack; a mutiny that was a reaction to the President Jaafary Nimeiry’s dictatorial decision to renege on some of the understandings and structures settled by the 1972 Addis Ababa agreement between Khartoum Government and the Anya-nya rebels that ended the first Sudanese civil war – that were fought since before independence in 1956.

From its very inauguration, the SPLA/M has taken heed on tribal practices of supremacy by certain tribes over other tribes, and the organization was closely associated with systematic human rights abuses, war crime and crime against humanity; authoritarianism and lack of national vision until the signing of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) with the National Congress Party, the ruling party of the Sudan in 2005.

The Comprehensive Peace Agreement can be claimed as Peace deal with the National Congress Part that saved SPLM/A from facing defeat; which also pave way for secession of South Sudan from Republic of Sudan in 2011; through free and fair referendum; a referendum that show the popular victory of the people of South in a democratic manner, against their fellow brothers and sisters, fathers and mothers, son and daughters in the northern part of the Country which remained today as “Republic of Sudan”.

SPLM is indeed a discourteous establishment that never believed in any meaningful dialogue for the national interests whether it be internal or external dialogues; it failed since 1983 to engage into any meaningful negotiations with any of the existed regimes in Khartoum – until it felt both National and International pressures, thus it engaged into negotiation with the NCP within the context of the Inter-Governmental Authority on Development (IGAD) that gave birth to Comprehensive Peace Agreement in 2005.; and even from within, it was not ready for any dialogue that made internal cohesion between the leadership difficult and caused spilt of the organization into various groups, in 1991 and then again in 2013.

The organization lacks effective leadership, both internal and external democratically principles, and it never had that practical relation with popular citizens of south Sudan that it claimed to be fighting to liberate because of her atrocities on the local population – such as looting, raping, torturing, killings and massive displacement until it reached CPA with NCP. Thus, until now, SPM’ regime have no feeling of sense of belonging to the people, then to simple conquer and drain the national resources for the benefit of the party’s individual leadership, and their family members – living luxurious life while leaving the vast population in a miserable stat of life.

De facto, SPLM never had any vision for the nation because it has no proper agenda for the Nation’s development – thus, SPLM as guerilla movement never had political manifesto; then what is pronounced by the person of Dr. John Garang that, “the slogans of the SPLA are “National Unity”, “Socialism”, “Autonomy,” where and when necessary, and “Religious Freedom;” so still now, the SPLM’s regime have no proper agenda for the National Development.

The glance at SPLM regime and the current state of Nation

A regime is judge by the means it came to power and how it behaved before it became in power. This is because what so ever means it uses to come into power, it will use it again to sustain itself once in power. “He who that come to power through terror; shall govern with terror – David Brandt Berg, the Treasure book”). The misconducts of the SPLM regime in south Sudan today, it is simple the prolongation of its, “actual conducts” during its’ guerilla struggles and therefore, it can be conclude that, SPLM failed to transform itself from Guerilla organization into legitimistic national democratic political party that can govern South Sudan on democratic principles; and to render social services to meet the needs of the poor citizens.

The Republic of South Sudan is not the creation of the SPLM as military-politico through use of arm, but the collective making of the popular will of the people of South Sudan in democratic means, which got its’ foundation on Comprehensive Peace Agreement – that become only functional again, by the popular will, as well supports of the people of South Sudan from all works of life. The popular will and supports of the people for the creation of their own Republic is lined with the voluntary will of various south based armed rebel organizations to disband war and join the SPLA\M in bring CPA alive in the Country since 2005 until South Sudan became Independent in 2011.

The desire of any armed rebel movements to join SPLM\A immediately in recognition and safe implementation of CPA was to build the Country, and making it, a successful Nation on democratic principles – where rule of law, and good governance exits, as well everyone is free, and enjoying their fundamental rights’ as warranted by the Country’s Constitution.

Therefore, we are here concord that, CPA that laid foundation of the Republic of South Sudan was not brought by SPLM alone as the SPLM\A and its’ members\supporters perceived. Antagonistic, CPA will not have been possible, and even successfully and bring the birth of the “Republic of South Sudan; – should other south based armed rebel movements as well political organizations – decided not to have taken part in the negotiation process of CPA in Kenya, and failed to recognized CPA.

However, it became so unfortunate, just as Late Dr. John Garang and his associates, currently runners of South Sudan Government, hijacked the SPLM\A from its founders through bloodshed in Ethiopian in early 1983; so the history continue to repeat its’ self. SPLM\A completely hijacked the CPA during its’ implementation face, and starts to run it, as well run the government of south Sudan alone, disbanding other south based armed liberation movements – without any powers, and involvements in government affairs until to date; which is indirectly bringing south Sudan into one party state, as well causing conflicts in the Country.

We all hold on believe that, CPA was a landmark in the history of the Sudan in general, because it set the country on the path to democratically transformation and reinstitution of culture for the respects of human rights that brought secession of South from the Republic of Sudan. Furthermore, it promised the people of the South, the exercise of the right for Self-determination, it instituted autonomy government of South, that was, for all practical purposes, independent; – politically, economically and security wise – until 2011 when we became formerly as Independent Nation in the World.

It is true that we had been running our affairs by ourselves without any external interference since the signing of the CPA until the day we recess from Republic of Sudan and became an independent State, in Africa and World at large. However, bad administration of SPLM has catastrophic failed the people of south Sudan, and it is turn to practices what we have fought against due to;

  • Lack of Democracy, Good Governance and Rule of Law

The SPLM\A’s regime has halt democracy, which was the core force for our decades of struggle, against the various Khartoum based regimes in Sudan. SPLM\A is not only strategically quickening for one party system, but became a dictatorial regime beyond reasonable doubt. We are complied to say that on our experiences of:-

  1. The April 2010 General Elections, that verified the altering of the SPLM into dictatorial, and staging of the Country into monopoly state, under SPLM\A.

The April 2010 can be stated as first time in history of the South Sudan for the people to exercise their democratic rights to choose the government, as well leadership of their choice. However, SPLM became dictatorial as South Sudanese from various states could not have that freedom of right to nominate their candidates for various Government structures. More so, majority, were not free vote for the candidate of their choices – due to intimidations and harassments by the National Security apparatus of the regime of SPLM\A.

As matter of facts, SPLM\A imposed governors in some states. Voters in Unite, Jonglei as well Central Equatoria States, for example, voted overwhelmingly for the independent candidates, but the binding SPLM\A governors emerge the winners, with only exception of Western Equatoria State, which triggered violence, like the revolt of Late LT. General George Athor that led to formation of South Sudan democratic Movement (SSDM); An election that resulting in deaths and injuries of many innocent lives and placed South Sudan in full gear of dictatorship by the SPLM.

  1. Furthermore; the ongoing national political crisis that was, and can be said, internal struggle of the SPLM cadres for power in sense of struggle for internal democratization of the party; that turned to took Sharpe as national political struggle and

  1. The our claim of monopoly of State, is the continue negotiation of the Three SPLM factions for what is themed as SPLM Reunification dialogue; inter-mediated in Arusha -Tanzania and again in Pretoria – South Africa, respectively.

  1. SPLM leadership continues to pursue the politics of exclusion within, and outside itself. It denies the other National political parties the right to propagate their ideas and present their political program to the people, nationwide. Above all, the SPLM leadership uses the national Security apparatus SPLA to intimidate other democratic political leaders in the Country, which indirectly reduces the level of our supposedly National security Apparatus to a party militia, which is much lamentably, to our Nation and People and for example the brief banning of the SPLM-DC in 2009; and then detention of the leader of the People’s Liberal Party in April 2015 without any due process

Lack of democracy in the Country not only pose threats to any peacefully and democratically parties in the Country – as rights of opposition parties and their members continue to be abused by the government; but also ordinary citizens that may be opposite to SPLM’s odd policies and practices.

There is absolutely bad governance and rule of law which has implication on our justice system as we can say as of 2012; there are 10,000 detainees across south Sudan, held for an average period between 3-24 months without {due process} court martialed; Three thousand, six hundred and eighty two {3,682} of those are detained without been charged, and even informed of the charges against them, which became much misfortunate, as our justices system turns to nosedive the Country, and becoming human rights abuse machinery.

SPLM continues to violate freedom of press as it continues to accused media industries of espionage without any substantial evidence. Journalists continuously to face challenges of arrests, intimidation, and torture; – which makes freedom of press including freedoms such as expression, information and communication very difficult.

For instance, on 5 September 2012, the Nation’s Security apparatus from the Directorate of Internal Security arrest Mr. Nasir Fazol from his work place, {The Citizen Newspaper Office In juba}. He was detained for three days at the Headquarters of the National Intelligence and Security Services {NISS} without been charged, or informed of the reasons for his arrest and detention.

Another incident was on 4th July 2012, when the chairman of the South Sudan Civil Society Alliance; Mr. Deng Athuai Mawiir , was kidnapped in Juba by the SPLA security apparatus – where he was held for three days. Mr. Deng was tortured, and interrogated about his work on corruption issues, especially pertaining the US$ 4 billion stolen by the 75 officials of the Government of the South Sudan.

There will be nothing such as democracy, without freedom of expression and media – because democracy is all about giving total freedom to the citizens to agree and disagree with their very own government in constructive manner, and to allow citizens to choose what is suitable for them.

Lack of democracy, good governance and rule of law is not only external practices of SPLM, but also internal practices within the organization that resulted in internal power struggle between the cadres of the SPLM due to lack of internal democratic systems that is functional; that caused what is widely alleged as coup plot, that resulted in inter-tribal crisis between Dinka and Nuer; which is costing thousands of innocent souls to perish simple because of their tribal identity; led to the revolt by the Nuer tribesmen of Riek Machar, against the leadership of Kirr – that is labeled as tribal leadership of Dinka.

Lack of democracy has resulted in to the lack of capacity by SPLM to install good governance and rule of law in the Country as citizens are besieged from constructive contribution to the governments through opposition of practices and policies that are odd. Thus, state powers are abused in all structures of the government that results in great sufferings due to proper justices systems and well administrative measures.

  • Ethnocentrism and it’s implication on National Security

Tribalism is enthralling and the key organ for building and sustaining traditional cultures of Peace and bloodhound as Nation which are the traditional leadership are isolated from their traditional authorities – simple to reduce influence of traditional leader from national political affairs; though their importance to enhance unity and coexistence from traditional settings.

Furthermore, SPLM continues to use tribalism as tool to enhance their power ambitions through acts of political corruptions; and has a results; National Security apparatus has broken down to tribal and sectional. Thus, resulted in its’ lack of credibility to protect all citizens equal regardless of their tribes. For example; the incident of December 2013 of alleged coup plots; where the national security apparatus acted on tribal lines and committed atrocities against certain tribes, using state machinery. Today; the country is full of tribal militias such as Mathiang Anyoor, Collo and white Army etc taking sharp of national security apparatus while enhancing tribal agenda that is threats to our national unity and coexistence.

Tribalism has penetrated the National Army and the army is total politicized, whereas assignments, and promotion system is taking form in a discriminative manner on tribal bases to the extent that, many have been in one rank for almost ten years which dangerous to enhance democracy as well national peace

  • Corruptions and Lack of social service deliverance / development

Corruption has become ailment which is concomitantly, the indirect cause of death and suffering of many, in the South Sudan. Corruption has become the driving force and its’ reproductions are poor services deliverance in the Country, as well lack of good governance and rule of law; which in turn, breed massive human rights violation, and other social crimes, and crime against humanity; as well general insecurity threats.

SPLM has failed to deliver social services, and to develop the Country considering facts of the availability of the resources to at least move the nation one step forward and arrest the massive sufferings of the people from lack of social services. Our children are going without schools while the Children of SPLM leadership enjoyed the best education in foreign lands. Our people continued to die from treatable diseases while those in charge and their families visited the best hospitals abroad.

In regardless of the desperate needs for social services such as proper health, education, water and food security and well infrastructure, SPLM regime spending 60% of overall net oil revenues on military; while still the National Army (SPLA) herself remain in wretched state, the soldiers are poorly paid and lacks basic services due to high level of corruptions within the top leadership.

The SPLM leadership continues to siphon off the meager resources of the Country and hemorrhage our people dry – yet there are no any tangible developments to enhance better life for all – through social services deliverances; and therefore; there is no need for such a regime to exist because it is of no services and benefit for the Nation.

To justify massive corruption of the SPLM was how the top officials of the SPLM looted a sum of US$ 4 Billion as of 2012; this is justified by the letter of the President of the Republic, urging those 75 officials to return even half of the US$ 4 billion back, and opening of bank account number 0810299067373 with Kenyan Bank. So that, those looted the Nation’s money, must deposit the money in that particular account, in return, they will be amnestied; which have never happened.

To the very weakens of the SPLM regime and particular the incompetency of the President of the Republic of South Sudan, the president on his own capacity has hidden identity of the 75 officials from the public; as well there was never any legal and administrative measures taken against those 74 individuals; and that was and remain the clear indication of the lack of will by the SPLM to eradicate the massive corruptions in the Country.

In facts, if only 75 top regime officials at National level could stole US$ 4 billion from public funds in such a short period. It is possible that, more than that has been plundered from the Public fund – especial by the junior officials, right from the national level, down to the States, Counties, and Boma, the basic unit of the structure of the Government in South Sudan.

Apart from those individuals who have looted the money of the Nation, SPLM as political party channeled millions of US$ dollars from the Nation’s Money into its’ own account for political party purpose, this was also justified in corruption case where, SPLM Secretary General gave an affidavit of US$ 30 Million received from the Nation’s Money.

To assure south Sudan is on the edge to be a botched state, even the so Called, National Legislative Assemble {Parliament} has failed the nation, it has preserves silence and could not use its’ constitutional power over the case. It is indeed, disappointing because the Parliament has failed to ensure those criminals are suspended and faces criminal justices; this is simple because those 75 officials, some are so called influential and leading MPs. Therefore, their own individual interests, and protection of their comrade leaders and comrade cadres became “first and more important” than problems affecting the South Sudan to date.

Today, we can confess that, the future of this resource-rich country is impeded by the corrupt elites of the SPLA\SPLM that are arrogantly enriching themselves, while the ordinary people find it increasingly difficult to survive, and enjoy the rights that are unalienable to them.

  • Lack of Vision and long time plan

Republic of South Sudan is never a poor Country in the World, in term of natural resources. It is only because the Country has fallen in the hand of the mafias who has, and is turning the national wealth and resources into their own individual wealth and resources.

South Sudan is a resource rich country, with an economic capacity, that can be estimated to cater for at least 45% – 60% of the needs of the populations without depending on the international aids. However, it is unbelievable that majority of the South Sudanese still having nothing to survive on, starving from hunger, having no safe water, no educational and health facilities as well socio-economic infrastructures in place to meet the demand of the nations. The regime elites misuse the resources of the nation, and nothing is seen in term of touchable development – service deliverance to the local population, as well improved security.

The South Sudan’s Police force in various localities still have no logistic facilities for crime combating while the Government, on 22 June 2012, donates logistic facilities {Toyota Land Cruisers – vehicles} to Uganda Police, while our very own police in South Sudan has no vehicles. Vast of the police station in the country not having even a single vehicle for crime combating, and therefore, how can the government thinks of donating vehicles to other country’s law enforcement agency for crime combating, while at home we lacks logistical facility to combating crimes? Just as said that, “charity starts at home,” so should it have been the funding of vehicles for crime combating.

As young Nation that still needs a lot to be done, instate of using the available resources (Funds) for social development and services deliverance to the populations, The gigantic government is costing over 60% of the national budget per annul unwisely, such as unwise over expenditure by the office of the president – that is said to be more than entire budget and expenditure of medium of some states such as Warrap and even Central Equatorial.

For example; during the fiscal year 2013/2014 the national government transferred to the Central Equatoria State government an amount of 254.7 million SSP, while to Warrap State received 156.7 million in transfers and Eastern Equatoria received 152.1 million. – Significantly less than the budgeted amount, according to Budget Book 2014/2015. While in the same period, the annual budget for the president’s office was 201.3 million SSP. But the presidency actual spent at least three and a half times that much, including at least 458.4 million spent by the Office of the President itself plus 238.4 million spent by the Crisis Management Committee, a body created by presidential decree and falling under the Office of the President.

It is indeed worthless for a national to spend more on administrations than in delivering services of paramount to the populations, the government spends to deliver services and development but not to enrich worthless individual officials.

Other mesmerizing facts is how the SPLA\SPLM elites has sold portions of land to foreigner investors amounting to the size of 10,169 sq. miles, and all these amount are in individual foreign accounts, – whereas, the indigence people are benefiting nothing from their sold out lands. For Example, late Matip, in 2010, illegal grab approximately 400,000 acres of land from the natives in Unite State, and leased it to American company, “Jarch Management group, Ltd,” for millions of United States Dollars. The money from the lease of the land went into his private account, and his private owned family company called “Leac Agriculture and Investment Co. Ltd.” A company which also, the very same owner of the Jarch Management Group, Philip Heillberg, who is Chairman and CEO of New York based investment company “Jarch Capital” also has purchased 70% share in it. This is actual a double deal – to own vast land and leave natives without land in future.

The question is how can one man acquire the 400,000 acres of land, nearly twice the size of Mauritius, or a size of Emirate of Dubai? In spite of outcry by the local population over the illegality of the transaction, there was no administrative, legislative, as well legal intervention – by the Government, which is more unfortunately to the local community, who are the ownership of the sold out land especial with the land Act articulates of the land lease term of 99 years.

Looking at the current state of nation of the South Sudan; It is true that, SPLM or the Government of SPLM has no good plans, and is out of track to deliver what it has promised ever since its’ guerilla era, to the Nation under its’ rheostat to date. SPLM is therefore, not able to deliver the Country from poverty, security, injustice; as well to bring to many innocent souls good governance and rule of law, which is the core of democracy – that warrants every citizens their freedom and rights. We must admit the fact that, “SPLM is a disgrace, unfit and must be toppled, for the national benefit.”

Decisive moment of Revolution; the objectives and Mission of REMNASA

As patriotic citizens; we looked at some of the critical challenges and pathetic state of nation under SPLM administration that has placed many in miserable state of life. These pathetic states of nation and sufferings of our people under SPLM administration is what actual caused us not only to revolt, but to adapt to armed struggle against SPLM administration, soon after formation of SPLM-IO in 2013 under the leadership of the former Vice President, Riek Machar.

Though REMNASA and SPLM-IO share the same goal and cause of actions – adopting to military measures as well to bring regime change in the Country; but we defer because :-

  1. SPLM-IO is more linked to some specific tribe which is again a threat to our Nation, based on our experiences of high spirit of tribalism in our Country that is affecting our national unity and coexistence. For we cannot use tribalism in form of national revolution to alleviate tribalism we are suffering from;

  1. We hold on believe that, any national revolutionary cause shall not be motivated by tribal ideologies because the motivation of our cause of actions becomes our practices and policies – whereas, the motivation for revolt by the Nuer officers under Lt. General Peter Gatdiet that led to the establishment of SPLM-IO is total based on tribal reactions with core foundations on Juba Massacre of Nuer tribesmen by Dinka tribesmen, and this means that, should have been such as massacre other tribes but not Nuer by Dinka, SPLM-IO won’t have existed. The real motivation caused the struggle to be against specific tribes using the national stage which is dangerious for our national unity and coexistence.

Therefore, we have examined all these challenges threatens our national unity and coexistence, we had to go in parallel with our sisterly revolutionary organization (SPLM-IO) though we are not against each other.

Our revolt against SPLM regime is not caused by any tribal interests and therefore is not against any tribe or individual and organizations, but against odd policies and practices of the Government of SPLM that caused our unhappiness as patriots and therefore, our revolts are with objectivity of bringing meaningful regime change where everyone will have equal rights, and freedom to exercise their democratic rights in our Country, as well to save the unity and coexistence of this Nation which is at risk due to tribalism, and lack of good governance and rule of law, as well democracy.

In deed; if Government of the people fails to address the need of common citizens, then the patriotic citizens will not be happy and when they are not happy, rebellion will be perceived and that is why we have revolted against the regime of SPLM.

We are against armed struggle due to the cost it will have on our nation; but then we have no any other options than to go for it as a mean to bring that urgent and meaningful regime change that will serve and save our people.

Therefore, REMNASA is established with objective of:

  1. The dissolution of the current government of the SPLM under leadership of Salva Kirr so as to be replaced by a national broad-base, multiparty system of government, agreed upon by all the political parties,
  2. To install and promote the culture of respects for human rights, and democracy, as well good governance and rule of law for the national benefits of all citizens and her aliens.
  3. To deliver social services and enhance socio economic development for sustainable peace and security

While the mission is to:-

  1. Rescue south Sudan from the Reign of dictatorship and Terrorism, as well to safeguard national independence and interests; and
  1. Promote national unity, equality and equity, human rights for all, as well fight poverty, Ignorance and diseases, and ensure the involvement of all citizens in economic development, and the empowerment of disadvantaged citizens, as well unity of south Sudan under federalism system.

Conclusion

We are faced with situations; but then the solutions to these very challenging situations are with us, therefore, nothing can stop us from getting these solutions. We have not armed ourselves to cause problems, but to address the problems, for problems are what we are against and therefore, what we are against, are what we need to find solutions for it urgently.

REMNASA is democratic revolutionary organization of the people, and our struggle has its ‘foundation on human rights – both individual and collective – these are rights to the freedom from marginalization and domination, injustice and persecution, dictatorship and corruption, which SPLM is unable to uphold.

For if we had fought before for our rights, and fought against these very odd practices and policies that we are facing today under SPLM, then nothing can stop us from fighting SPLM until we have attained functional democracy, good governance and rule of law and security which are basic for enhancing human development.

For the fight is the fight of the people, for the people and by the people for the creation of Democratic Federal Republic where everybody has equal rights, and access, as well freedom before the law.

Therefore, we appeal to every patriot to take this decisive moment to be part of this revolution to enhance meaningful regime change to create space for ending the sufferings of all from dictatorship, injustices, tribalism, poverty, discriminations and insecurity threats.
