Launch Statement
May 27, 2015 (SSB) — We are very excited about our new website launch and hope it provides useful, informative information for our community members and the general public to better understand the history of Twic and the larger Jiëëŋ Community.
We believe that this new site will allow Twic Community to have a very educative experience as we continue to maintain our unique Jiëëŋ culture.
We believe this site along with the social media, will help us connect our community in a much more effective way.

Below are some of the goals to be achieved by this website:
• To empower citizens to be informed and engaged to their fullest at all levels of their lives.
• To connect people at the grassroots with all levels of government.
• To build mutual relations among various communities in Jonglei State and South Sudan at large.
• To connect the Diaspora community with the people at home in Twicland and South Sudan at large.
• To advocate for peace, gender equality and human rights issues.
• To help inspire Twic Diaspora especially the foreign born to trace and embrace their heritage.
Your inputs and suggestions on any section of the website will be highly welcome and will be given the highest consideration.
