June 23, 2015 (SSB)  —   Twic East Community of South Sudan-USA in collaboration with Twic East Community of New York is pleased to announce and invite all South Sudanese citizens, friends, and people of good will to attend a fundraising event to raise fund for rebuilding the Panyagoor Hospital in Panyagoor, Jonglei, South Sudan and to commemorate the Dr. John Garang de Mabior Memorial Day. This Memorial services will include our sons and daughters who did voluntarily sacrificed for our people freedom.
The fundraising event will be held on Saturday, July 4, 2015 and the memorial services will take place on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at Henninger High School.  The address is 600 Robinson Street, Syracuse, New York 13206.
The Panyagoor Hospital caught fire on Tuesday, March 24, 2015.  It was burned to the ground by unknown circumstances. The absence of this hospital is outraging and a threat in its nature to the entire local population.  It was the only hospital serving the people of Twic East County.  The citizens are now left with no health services. The health situation is deteriorating in the county and it is anticipated that it will get worse during the rainy season. The goal of this event is to raise funds to restored hope and safe lives by reinstalling the destroyed hospital.
Admission to the events is free and you are encouraged to donate generously to this cause. Your donations will ONLY go toward restoring the hospital. The burned hospital was the only hope left for the people of Twic East county living in a state of desperation due to the ongoing conflict in South Sudan.  Please support this cause in any possible way to revive the shattered hope.  Donation is payable to Twic East Community of South Sudan-USA, Inc., 542-76th St. SW Suite, Byron Center, Michigan 49315.
