Comrade Pagan Amum Okiech Is Back In Nairobi For Official Duties As SPLM Secretary General

June 24, 2015 (SSB)  —-  Comrade Pagan Amum Okiech who is one of the pillars of Sudan Peoples’ Liberation Movement has traveled to Nairobi on an official duty after his reinstatement to his post on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 as Secretary General of Sudan of Peoples’ Liberation Movement (SPLM).

On board of Kenya Airways flight number 353 from Juba to Nairobi on Wednesday in a delegation of Comrade Deng Alor, Comrade John Luk, Comrade Kosti Manibe and the Kenyan Minister of Defense Ambassador Raychelle Awuor Omamo, Comrade Pagan Amum said he appreciated Comrade Salva Kiir and the people of South Sudan for having trust in him, Pagan said he, Comrade Salva Kiir and all the SPLM comrades will work hard to bring peace to South Sudan.

Comrade Pagan Amum is reinstated by President and SPLM Chairman Comrade Salva Kiir Mayardit as Secretary General of the South Sudan’s South Sudan ruling party (SPLM) in implementation of Arusha agreement to end the 19 month conflict in South Sudan.
