Rebels’ demand on President Kiir to reverse the creation of 28 states is illusional!

November 24, 2015 (SSB) — When the peace agreement for the resolution of conflict in South Sudan was brokered by Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), a number of issues were tabled, discussed and agreed upon even without adequate consent from the government.
The signed Peace Agreement came as a consequence of unwarranted compromise. It wasn’t a demand so tangible so that rebels could claim the superiority on the negotiation table.
It was accepted as a result of feasibility and the fact that the sufferers of the war aren’t the wealthy rebels but innocent South Sudanese who have suffered unmatched damages either mentally, socially or physically following a destructible war fought in the last 35 months.
However, nobody was superior beyond South Sudan’s sovereignty to enforce peace on the custodian of the country in the person of President Salva Kiir. It is a common knowledge that suffering of South Sudanese people was adequate to pressurize Kiir into accepting the signing of a peace deal that isn’t satisfying but that creates more misgivings than solutions for the country.
The agreement wasn’t a ban for president to transact the National businesses. It doesn’t by any possibility stop President from doing what South Sudanese want.
I despise and detest the demand for the reversal of the creation of 28 states. There is no way a public demand be subjected to personal ego as one can see with egotistical moves by Riek Machar Teny, FDs and company to irresponsibly demand for nullification of the recent order.
Riek and company are political chauvinists with engraved petulance that mustn’t be always revered. The idea to reverse this popular demand is peevishly a making of a man with no sense of sensibility in portraying a political prowess. That is quite sheepish.
I have this to say, refusal by Riek and company to come to Juba is unrelated to creation of 28 states, it is his personal desire and shouldn’t be subjected to any attention. It was him the other day who theoretically created 21 states and today presuming firm stance against the idea.
Isn’t that petulance? Petulance in the sense that he isn’t the one announcing the order so it is a violation. That is myopically a myopia of failed man. The demand is illusional and an unacceptable.
It is a portrayal of planned ignorance for the reason that it is pervasively naive and derisory. Now that international community love pushing for Riek’s myopic agenda, they ought to note with concern that their interest isn’t all about Riek, it is all about South Sudanese and so they should preferably refuse to endorse Riek’s incompatible idea.
Creation of new States is really popular and acceptable and should it be reversed, that would provoke the now celebrating people, I included to wage a deadly rebellion and therefore, Riek should just desist from scratching the scare that is potentially a latent wound.
I am not joking, the desire to reverse this great and popular making of President Salva Kiir is unpopular and will be defended by the now celebrating youth even by force. This isn’t a threat, it is a plain truth. Real one.
I can stage a rebellion in defense of my state and too, do others and hence the implementation of the recently signed Peace deal shall be a nightmare!
In the meantime, we need peace, peace is inevitably and invariably a necessity and hence rejecting it on claims of Kiir’s unilateral decision isn’t the way forward. Riek isn’t Kiir’s consultant and he must stop wallowing in myopia.
Despite political wrangles it is despicable to myopically deduce that reversal of creation of 28 states would bring peace. In essence, rejection of the process after it has been legally endorsed by the National Assembly is likely a time bomb for explosion of more problems, likely in the disinterest of everyone.
Although the likes of Dr. Lam Akol have opted to oppose the idea, it is likely that they won’t go violent. They would, like most naysayers be selling their ideas by citing things like, it was unconstitutional and therefore it is deemed unacceptable.
Calling a process illegal isn’t like calling it off permanently for personal gratuition, it is harmless and diplomatic. Point to note, the manner with which the creation of 28 states was conducted is acceptable and therefore, nobody has a right to question it.
Does Riek question it on whose behalf when all South Sudanese are contented with the decision? If on his own behalf then he has to wholeheartedly accept that he isn’t the best South Sudanese.
It should always be accepted and particularly by naysayers that the more they antagonise the President especially on issues that are compatible with the nation, the more they promote him.
Opposing Kiir on this agenda is like swallowing a poison for it gives him an absolute progress politically in the disadvantage of the opponent. We have to enhance peace by not rejecting the creation of 28 states but by accepting it.
