tolerance
Tolerance, not unity, is what is needed within the splm party

January 31, 2016 (SSB)  —  It was with disappointment to learn that our liberation pioneers, veterans, and wounded heroes, such as Commander Deng Alor Kuol d’Arob are vilified by the grandkids of NCP-sponsored sectarian opportunists and unpatriotic lots who dined with the genocidaire regime when the true sons of land bled to death. Such one hero was and is Deng Alor who was severely wounded in battles in Pochalla and Northern Bahr el Ghazal in each case he was left for death before being rescued by his loyal and courageous troops.

Before the foundation of the SPLA/M, Deng Alor had served as a First Secretary in the Sudan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which he shortly left to found the Abyei Liberation Front (ALF) in 1981, along with Chol Deng Alak (the former SPLM Cadet Instructor).

Soon after the mutiny in Bor in 1983, his group plus that of Ngachigak Nyachiluk, Pagan Amum and Oyay Deng Ajak (known as SSRF), who’re already in the bush, were among the first ones to establish SPLM/A with Anya-Nya I Veteran Akuot Atem de Mayen as the first SPLM Chairman, Lt. Col (Rtd) Samuel Gai Tut Yang as Defense Secretary, Col. Dr. John Garang de Mabior as SPLA C-in-C Chief of Staff, Veteran South Sudan Independence Icon Joseph Oduho Haworu as Secretary for Political & Foreign Affairs, and the renown judge Justice Martin Majier Gai Ayuel as the Secretary for Administration & Legal Affairs. This SPLM/A structure existed only from July 31 – Sep 4, 1983 before the differing political orientations raptured the movement apiece.

Secondly, after he was physically disabled-in-the-line of duty to carry out military operations anymore, he was later assigned to the full-time mobilization of the Movement’s military logistics, diplomacy and financial resource acquisition that propelled the SPLM victories on all fronts from 1989 – 2005.

Now back to substance of this paper, how dare we compare such an iconic figure to the affirmative action beneficiaries of the over-promoting of the undeserving.

We all know that Deng Alor was a prominent political-peace negotiator in various SPLM political and strategy engagements, among which are the Akoka Dam talks and Abusha 1 and 2. This individual has contributed much to their liberation, including CPA and eventual South Sudan independence. Despite fallacious accusation labeled against him in December 2013 with other G-10 members of attempting a coup, this lie could not be proved in the court law where the government lost miserably, hence he remains innocent. All is clear now that there was no of coup plot in the first place.

Attention to all young writers who have been brainwashed by political propaganda who are really visionless to bring peace and focus on provocation agenda. You guys should conduct background research to all our current politicians to better know who the traitors and the heroes. As a prologue, be warned that I will sequentially release criminal records of failed individuals now masquerading as national leaders, starting with Kuol Manyang next week.

My conclusion remark is that Salva Kiir Mayardit has betrayed Abyei and Junub Sudan. I have mentioned many times when he lied at the SPLM meeting in Abyei in presence of John Garang that he will he himself and Bahr l Ghazal region will remain behind to fight for Abyei if the rest of South separates without Abyei. Now what happened dummy tribal president? You yourself utterly sold out Abyei for a few dollars to Khartoum and started humiliating Abyei citizens who were the backbone of the liberation struggle. With exception of Malual Dinka of Northern Aweil and Twic Mayardit, no other Dnka groups in Bahr el Ghazal has fought more for the liberation of South Sudan than Abyei. Not even your own Rek Dinka of Gogrial.

So Peter Makuach, get your facts first or shut up if you are deficient in history.

Everyone has to work for peace and stop squabbling over positions. SPLM-IO must be welcomed as brothers and sisters with full rights to their citizenship and duties.
