Working with local, regional and international experts, Skills for South Sudan provides vitally needed management and leaderships skills development to thousands of individuals and communities at the national, state and local levels. From the corridors of power to the smallest grassroots organisations, SKILLS is improving the lives of people across South Sudan.

Do you have at least 5 years relevant work experience in a senior management position, ideally in international development and maybe you have also worked in Sudan?

The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership, efficient operational management and effective communication with stakeholders. S/he will have a Master’s degree in social sciences or international development.

Full Job Description: The successful candidate will have a Master’s degree in social sciences or international development, and ideally a degree or training in management or business development.

His/her main responsibilities will be:

  • Organisational and Programme Management.
  • Highly developed networking and interpersonal skills.
  • Financial Oversight and Donor engagement.
  • Strong relationships skills in a diverse and complex context.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and business skills.
