I been longing, waiting for your come back upon our tears’ request but it seems like it is impossible. It is true you have gone, gone too far that our arms are short enough to touch the sleeve of your shirt. Thousands have expressed their sorrows from the very first hour of your departure but it feel like no one has done anything. I feel like writing over and over again for I can never run out of words to describe the pain you left us. It is unbearable to accept that you are gone for it is more painful than knowing you are just asleep.

Does heaven have ears, no it doesn’t but you have gone right there, therefore should it have ears by now for we want to communicate with you every minute. Our hearts are fill with burdens, our cheeks are glued in tears, our minds with thoughts. There was nothing good than having you around as an elder, a veteran, a legend and our hero. Four days has passed but it seem like today. I conclude there will be no day to get over you as long as your memories lives with us.

We have a bucket full of your wisdom, your history and your powerful temperament, it is something that will takes million of years to forget. There is no different of today from yesterday. The different is that I am accepting you are gone for good. Yesterday I was in desperate call to have you back but there is someone, someone supernatural that make all the decisions. I surrender my call and I am accepting your death. Although it is the most depressing part of the whole thing. I am willing to cry loud and be it my final cry. I am willing to mourn as much as I could but make today my last date.

I realised I am hosting darkness in my heart’s compound as a symbol to communicate to my soul that this is what had happened to me, this is what happening to me but it should not be all I have. I realised I have better things than knowing you are gone and continue symbolises something about you with black image. You are a martyr; a clear definition of someone that give his entire life for the betterment and freedom of other persons and fight effortlessly for social justice. You are hero, a clear definition of the fear lion-heart man in the history of our country. You are a legend, a clear definition of a well-known genius personality.

There is enough reason not only to mourn but to celebrate part of what you have done, what you have achieved and what you have contributed to our beloved nation. We have been missing you, we will missed you but forever will you stays right here in our hearts and in our minds. You were a beautiful soul. Amazing uncle, father and a freedom fighter. You are a unique character, with hope there is and will always be another you in our generation.

Today marked my final goodbyes, but not that I will not write or say anything about you, it is that I have accepted that you are gone and should start a new chapter. A new chapter inspires by your beautiful thoughts and wisdom. A new chapter inspire by your courage and determination. Gone too soon but live forever. Rest in peace to the great of the greatest, the most powerful man of our our time; Elijah Malok Aleng Mayen. I love you dearly. I extremely adore your wisdom. I nurture so so much your temperament. With you we were indeed blessed, with your departure we are orphans.
