South Sudan’s President Salva Kiir Mayardit (L) with his Chinese counterpart Hu Jintao

March 7, 2015 (SSB) —  Your Excellency, the president through your communication office, I am humbly conveying my message to you and am confident the message will reach you immediately once receive by your media paternity specially Mr Ateny Wek Ateny and the minister for information and broadcasting who is also the official government Spokesperson. I am aware the protocol does not allow me to book for an appointment with you in order to deliver this information to your office.

I am one of the concern and constitutional fearing citizens who is annoyed with illusions demands by the rebels. The rebel leader who led a failed attempted coup which he turned into rebellion was one the rebel leader against our late John Garang de Mabior whom his wife and son are now supporters of him.

I am aware his demands which were drafted by troika countries and their hunting dog aka United Nations/UN are impossible no matter how the weigh of being force on you by troika countries. Remember you and SPLA/M did not give in to his demands in 1991 when he rebelled against the leadership of Nyandeeng’s husband which was backed by British government but you defeated him when you stand with Garang.

I am reading the news about sanction being imposed on us and this is a theme of my open letter. I have no doubt you care for us as you are trying to bring to an end the suffering of your people, but remember you can only achieve it through a non coercive peace deal. We have suffered enough but please don’t give devil a chance to conquer our territory, this man call Riek Machar is a devil that need not to be allowed to enjoys such demands. Remember you came to power through people votes and therefore anyone of us who want to succeed you must seek people mandate in order for you to pass on to him/her the leadership mantle in a bloodless event instead of bloody event as being always a case with this prophet of doom, named ironically by Rebecca Nyandeeng’s husband when he almost send their family to exile if not because of your effort to stand with this family that had turn against you

Mr president, Riek machar caused severe devastation to our people when he rebelled against the movement in 1991 and after you defeated him, he crossed over to Khartoum government to enjoy the VIP services with Arab regimes, the services you came to enjoy in 2005. You and all of us suffered in the bush for the sake of liberation while Riek was comfortably in the Sudanese capital city. When we managed to form our government under your leadership in 2005, he was made VP a move criticized by political analyst as a kill to get position. Please mr president, never reward him with position this time instead let us wait and see how he will implement the troika countries’ agenda in this day light.

I recalled when you were spreading the gospel according to CPA in Baidit payam of Bor county, the then Bor district in may 2004 while you sat next to Kuol Manyang Juuk facing eastward. I remember you saw tens of thousands of cattle grazing. You though the cattle in their white colors were intermediate egret birds and in that event, you whispered with the man you currently trusted with defense docket. That emotional commotion was the expression of what Riek Machar did in Bor in 1991 when he killed dozens of people and droved away their livestock leaving them behind, venerable to hunger and affiliates, you were surprised how and where did people gain back their economic mean of livelihood.

I would like you to remain strong and not to be shaken by the sanctions at our door post, it is an intimidation meant to scare you to accept their agenda with their son ln-law who is non other than Riek Machar. They did the same to strong man Gabriel Robert Mugabe in 2003, Omar Hassan of Sudan, Yahya Jameh of Gambia, former president of Kenya Daniel Arap Moi but when their flocks were strong behind them and consider troika countries’ threat of sanction as a neo-colonalisation, the aforesaid leaders overcome the sanction. Be strong and have faith in us and don’t listen to those demands.

Long live Salva Kiir, Long live the constitution, short live prophet of doom.
