It was a task, a vision they had followed,
With hope and determination,
Determined they were to have something,
They could call their own,
They fought for years, struggle for years,
To eradicate injustice, inhumanity,
They all yearned for peace……
–
Children illed,
Moarning, groaning, cries,
HUNGER!!!
Silent tears mothers shed,
Moarning husbands, children,
They bear it all.
A soul cry, a soul wish,
They all yearned for peace…..
–
A bite of injustice they felt,
Everything taken.
Properties grabbed, land alienated,
Fathers,mothers, children cried.
For the nation,
Perhaps, peace would be retained,
They all yearned for peace….
