Deng Nyiluel” [Deputy Chairperson] said; as community Leaders’ we have taken the initiative of talking to the youths and elders telling them that this peace is real.

We communicate to the communities from different ethnic background telling them that we need to own this peace. It should not be something brought to us by other people rather it’s our own and if so we need to take the lead role, Nyiluel concluded.

Hon. Nyaduel Buom” Said; that South Sudanese and the women in particular need to embrace this peace. Don’t say that this peace belongs to Salva Kiir and Dr Machar alone, the peace is for the people of South Sudan and benefits go to all including the other nationals from different Countries who are residing in the Country.

Elder Pual Gatchang added that; let us all exert efforts to support the two Signatory parties to the peace agreement for peace to be implemented.

We are not ready for war, we are ready for peace and democratic reform’, He stated. We are not willing to stay longer in Camps, we need to come home when peace becomes real.

The Community of Gawaar Nuer is calling upon the people of South Sudan to join hands in building the nation.

May God bless South Sudan.
