August 5, 2016 (SSB) — In a brief statement by James Tayien Koang (Chairman Of Plow Community In Uganda) to the public that we therefore strongly condemn and dismiss the appointment of a former minister of mining General Taban Deng Gai in unrecognized presidential decree to act as first vice president in Transitional Government of National Unity in SPLM in opposition hence eliminating Dr. Riek Machar Teny who was officially authorized in a peace deal tabled by IGAD and Troikas in Addis Abba-Ethiopia in 2015.

The moves made by President Salva Kiir in his government to remove his Excellency the first vice president Dr. Machar we identify and witness to live is a way of instructing peace accord officially signed on 16th August, 2015 by Dr. Machar in Addis Ababa Ethiopia, in a respected manner on 26th August, 2015 by Salva Kiir in juba, South Sudan.

In a concern message to Salva Kiir, we kindly recognized Taban Deng Gai a Former minister of mining, Dr. Riek Machar is Authorized and constitutionally a First Vice President Of the Republic of South Sudan, if there is need to remove him from First Vice President then should be both Salva Kiir and Dr. Machar to step down after a transitional government of national unity for sympathize election according to the peace accord.

Honestly, we are standing firm with Dr. Machar until president Salva Kiir respect the rights of living populations of the Republic of South Sudan

In a statement issued by former minister of mining General Taban Deng Gai, said that he was induced by SPLM in opposition Political Bureau which I quoted and could assure the public that SPLM In Opposition Political Bureau cannot be four members namely Taban Deng, Lol Gatkuoth, William Ezekiel  in its live structured it members are more than to twenty eight, Taban was confuses the world wide he was induced officially to become the first vice president in Transitional Government of National Unity in SPLM in opposition political bureau’s members, what we considered is that, he was  greed for powers and could counted a night mere and specifically total lies.

In my leadership in Uganda, I, my cabinet and the community members, we urge general Taban to join Government without interferences in the activities of the party if there is no patience in you as a person and allow a most wanted and demanded peace by citizens of south Sudan to establish and implement peacefully.

On behalf of phow community in Uganda and on my own behalf as secretary general I urges the AU, UN, IGAD -plus and the International community to deploy the third forces in Juba to act as buff zone between SPLA-IG and SPLA-IO forces if peace require to be implemented as well as to avoid the looming genocide that is being facilitate by the government of south Sudan.

The community condemned the persistent attacks on SPLA-IO positions in Central Equatoria State, looting of civilians’ property, raping of young girls, mothers and killing base on their ethnic lines by the government forces therefore, this is not acceptable.

James Chakuency Johnson a community financial advisor said that, we are not back up the appointment of Taban Deng Gai as First Vice President of Republic of South Sudan hence Mr. Deng is not eligible.

However, Chakuency narrated the process which was used to nominate Deng as First Vice President by President Kiir Mayardit illegal. So the community condemns in the strongest term possible the appointment of Taban Deng as FVP. Phow community will never and shall never recognize Taban Deng as First Vice President of South Sudan.
