Who is Comrade Pagan Amum Okiech, the leader of G-10?

August 22, 2016 (SSB) — Who is Pagan Amum? Mr. Pa’gan Amum Okiech is a South Sudanese politician. He is the co-founder of South Sudan the reborn Country. Pa’gan Amum was born in a small post known as WAT in the Lou Nuer area and his father was a commissioned police officer responsible for the WAT post. His family moved to Malakal after his grandfather, Okiech of the Ubuar people, died and Pa’gan’s father was asked to take over the role of his father. His father went from being a clan chief to later being paramount chief and president of the court.
In 1982 Pa’gan Amum left law school in Khartoum to organize and command a group of young revolutionaries committed to the establishment of a new Sudan project. This group jointed by Mr. Pa’gan with other insurgent groups to form the Sudan People’s Liberation Army/Movement SPLA/M under the leadership of his mentor or adviser or counselor Dr. John Garang De Mabior 1983.
In 2005, Pa’gan Amum was part of Dr. John Garang’s team that negotiated the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA), which brought to an end the Sudanese civil War and led to an historic, internationally supervised referendum in 2011. Pa’gan Amum has become a minister of Sudan cabinet affairs just in a less than year after his appointment as minister. Pa’gan Amum’s misbehavioural symptoms started and he lost self-controlled or he’s self-lose hold by describing his country as failing, or unsuccessful, or unstuck and corrupt country which is good-for nothing.
Pa’gan Amum Okiech as senior politician in Sudan interim government minimally forgotten that NCP and SPLM were partners, or cohorts and allies whom their tasks to reform Sudanese government system during CPA implementation. He was secretary general of the SPLM party, minister of Sudan cabinet Affairs, SPLM defender and SPLM attacker athlete, or assailant in football field or arena as SPLM sportsperson who is trustworthy to maintain the abusive language as positive characteristic of top leader status.
Definitely, Mr. Pa’gan Amum Okiech was fired by president of Sudan Omer Hassen Bashir as result of his lack of self-discipline. You can imagine, Pa,gan Amum was part of that failing or unsuccessful country, how can he not including himself or objecting the system, while he is a part of unsuccessful regime.
After the referendum, Pa’gan Amum continued his service as Secretary General of the SPLM. He was elected by the National Liberation Council and he was also installed as South Sudan’s chief negotiator with Sudan on post independence issues. He served as minister for Peace and CPA implementation in the government of Southern Sudan, prior to independence in 2011 and as caretaker or concierge minister of Peace in the first government post independence, taking office on 23rd July 2011.
In 2013 Pa’gan Amum started condemning government and his SPLM party. Comrade Pa’gan Amum repeated the same scenario of abusive language of the nursery school’s child to his SPLM chairperson H.E Salva Kiir Mayardit when he said SPLM is failing party, unsuccessful party and corrupt party. Look at this Jewish; he served the SPLM party from 2005 to 2013 eight (8) years fully as Secretary General of ruling party SPLM. To critic, is an absolute right to anyone, but Pa’gan Amum was liked somebody in the glass room and he has started throwing, or fling his shadow or ghost and glass room crushed on him.
For his information you can’t criticize the party or government you are part of it, as senior officer therefore cde Pa’gan Amum has proved Al -intibaha Arabic newspaper chairperson utterance Mr. El-Tahif Mustafa when he said to Mr. Pa’gan Amum if South Sudan become independent nation and you continue criticizing the country, or party and government likewise you will be first refugee or runaway politician in the country.
Pa’gan Amum was the highest ranking member of the Shilluk ethnic group (collo) in South Sudan government and his relationship with prominent or well-known opposition leader Dr. Lam Akol, who is also from the Shilluk (collo) tribe in united Upper Nile State, has been increasingly tense since Dr. Akol Ajawien started a breakaway movement from SPLM in 2009. Comrade Pa’gan Amum Okiech’s repeated insistence in 2011 that Dr. Lam Akol’s SPLM-DC were linked to Khartoum backed militias and rebels in Upper Nile have been refuted or disproved by Dr. Lam Akol who has threatened to take Amum to the court.
On 21st March, 2012 cde Pa’gan Amum Okiech was cleared of corruption charges made against him by former finance minister cde Arthar Akuien Chol but if was not SPLM chairperson intervention and entire party members of SPLM cde Pa’gan Amum could have been found guilty as corrupter in the government.
In 2013, the South Sudan descended or gone down into civil war and 23rd July that year Pa’gan Amum was put under arrest by SPLM and suspended from all official duties. On 15th December, 2013 after failure attempted coup a trial against Mr. Pa’gan Amum and three other SPLM leaders accused of treason, or disloyalty, and betrayals began the following year in March 2014 but were overturned by April. In June 2015, the detainees were returned to Juba from Kenya and were reintegrated into the ruling party and cde Amum Okiech was reinstated as Secretary General.
On 17th August, 2015 Pa’gan Amum has again betrayed his party and signed the 2015 Peace Agreement in Addis Ababa between the current government and the SPLM IO. Claiming continuous threat to his security Pa’gan Amum is currently in exile in the United States beating trusteeship drum. How many times will cde Pa’gan Amum leave off, or roll up and let up betraying his motherland Country?
Mr. Pa’gan Amum signed August 2015 peace deal as Shilluk (collo) representative I assumed and also signed 2015 Peace Agreement as betrayer or unfaithfulness SPLM cadre who careless about SPLM principles. Pa’gan Amum was serving SPLM party for his own stabilization financially, also dish up under SPLM as an umbrella to loot the country funds.
Comrade Pa’gan Amum’s politic is the lawlessness, anarchy, or muss, or disarray and confusion as culture to enable him loot the nation funds, resources and as corrupter politician can’t be given a room to restore his own shattered ideas. But how cde Pa’gan Amum teacher others when he refused to learn? Pa’gan Amum preach that it is wrong to steal. But he has stolen country funds therefore cde Amum Okiech was cleared of corruption charges on 21st March, 2012 after SPLM chairperson intervention. Pa’gan say people should be authentic in law. But is he authentic? You hate South Sudan self-governing and regime, yet you rob their institutions. Pa’gan Amum take pride in the law, but he disobeys the law and brings shame to the country.
It is just as the scriptures tell us; you have made foreigners say insulting things about God. Being circumcised is worthwhile, if you obey the law. But if you don’t obey the law, you are no better off than people who are not circumcised. In fact, if they obey the law, they are as good as anyone who is circumcised Romans chapter 2: verse 26. Anybody’s misbehavioural symptoms can be arranged as follows absenteeism, increased smoking/alcohol use, loss/increased appetite, indecision, lack of concentration and erratic moods.
