"We the willing, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have done so much, with so little, for so long, we are now qualified to do anything, with nothing" By Konstantin Josef Jireček, a Czech historian, diplomat and slavist.

If you think I am ranting then you need to first look into yourself…..

September 6, 2016 (SSB) — Can you catch your breath a bit, pause a little, what is all these hullaballoo about? Is it an attempt of one trying to catch the shadow and loss the substance? Or are you one of those who sell the skin before they catch (kill) the leopard, or that type which shoot first and aim later…..  Should it be that every ass loves himself bray! Calm down all your speculations, it is not over yet! The game (movie) has just begun; you will have enough time to watch it. So relax and give yourself time

It was 2013 and again 2016, same people same Country, do we miss something? Maybe, maybe not. But before we get into that after whatever external solutions that seems to itch us or seems to appreciate and praise, lets first agree that the government has agreed the recent controversy of 4000 UN troops, opposition (I mean G10, IO-Bush and Dr. Lam Akol) wanted an intervention force and the government wanted only the protection force, protection force was however agreed, but still what comes thereafter is Bloodshed! Shame! Thank God we are not having Dr. Riek as the FVP.

Addisababa on the other hand has never yielded any long lasting peace; ask sayed Abel Alier or Rt. Gen. Joseph Lagu should you think that I am lying. Like I said that we are a state on trial, are we not talking of the foreigners’ vile hand in many Countries like Libya, Congo and Somalia and relate them immediately to UNMISS’ behaviors here?  It became worse when the IGAD member countries mentioned “intervention” to the UN which was strongly rejected by the government

When it was intervention force, others applauded it without even a clear observation of why they wanted them apart from simply being just “members of the wounded pride” which they wanted to revive! They rush to talk this and talk that in wanting them come without even a slight concrete ground that makes fit their argument but since we are gifted with tongues, then we have to use them before somebody else use it for us – didn’t I say that every ass like to hear itself bray? That maybe the case anyway

The supporters of 4000 intervention force are mostly self exiled G10 supporters, IO-bush supporters and Lam Akol. They were yearning for that because it was going to act as a cover for their back door entrance into South Sudan or to simply make sure that South Sudan fails in the hand of whom they hate most (Pres. Kiir and acolytes), that can obviously quench their rage on him (Kiir) or act as antidote to their political hangover, it was a plan “B” of their political resurrection

As said earlier by the same author that the country is living on trials, south Sudan is viewed by many countries as a problem but I think it is the world which seems to have the problem with South Sudan because they dash to judging it before they could even know it! Sad!

This perception from the world needs a good correct answer, the answer should not be standing aloof, it should not be simply standing in the balance, it is not being a bystander, and it should not also be hatred or pointing fingers. The answer should be “work”, yes work!

It (work) should be made loud and clear, Hon. Dhieu Dau of finance and FVP. H.E. Taban Deng seems to be showing feathers of political, administrative and ethical man- hood. How I wish others to follow, how I wish the lazy and misbehaving ones weeded out before they poison the good ones and disgrace the whole system! How I wish their supervision grow roots! And how I wish us sticking to peace!

With all these trials, expect not South Sudan to be unexceptional, Uganda, Nigeria, Ghana travelled on the same highway many years ago, if the question is that newly independent countries easily flank into political anarchy then the answer is simple: if the leadership can manage to stand to its feet, if its solutions and promises can stand the test of time, if its exit points (embassies) make sense o the countries they represent, if the SPLM, though it is being crippled by Hon. Madam Nunu can observes the work of its members in the cabinet and warns whoever hits below the belt then the faces, these  South Sudanese gloomy faces, made gloomy by political and economic calamity would be made to smile again

Politely speaking, we sometimes have “fear”, that fear of our leaders, fear of their inability to deliver and still being maintained. Fear of corruption, corruption of many who comes in to munch and later goes away without being tried, and fear of those lazy and incapable buddies who seems to have been brought in to eat, yielding nothing! Growing unnecessary bellies of laziness! Those DGs who cannot even be Clarks in Rwanda! If those unnecessary beings are not weeded out and sent back to cattle camps (or wherever they came from), if their discriminate grazing is not declared over, then we still have a long way to go

We want our leaders to be that types we feel proud when we mention their names not those ones we run away and cry when we mention them

The government, I mean the government that has been there before its disintegration in 2013 was that type which had coupéd the civilians, they were heartlessly milking the civilians leaving nothing to their (civilians) calves, robbing them of their resources, sucking their bloods, less actions to tackling insecurity, unnecessary powers to the National security in order to displine the civilians, reluctance to taming the National Security activities against the media and so on and so forth. This was a pathetic coupe before they (government) coupéd themselves within. Now that you have contained your coupe, can you now give us (civilians) back our seat (rights, basic needs)?

The country is in trial, the string of bad wishers  are digging grounds in our beloved country, the troupes of jackals are on its neck, the gluttons are sucking peoples’ blood mercilessly, the betrayers are selling it cheaply with bottles of beer to the outsiders

It is up to the authority to pull up its socks, clear this mucky scum, and clean the tears of agony in our faces and declare our country, beloved south Sudan not guilty of any charge then we move out with jubilation, embrace, dance, run, and play.

After that, we move out with friends, fill our glasses in the near pub, nock them and cheers “……..for me, for you, for the country, martyrs, and for our freedom now and forever and ever more” amen.

Subsequently, we take two or three mouthful depending on what one’s jaw holds; discuss this and that, laugh again in remembrance that we, we the great people of Junub have permanently  won the court case
