Our house is on fire: We must condemn politics of tribalism in South Sudan

October 10, 2016 (SSB) —- What I always do as an opinion writer is to alert my fellow South Sudanese and government on issues of tribal killings and danger of wide spread of that killing into hands of other South Sudanese that may learn serious revenge from it because revenge is always painful and unforgettable. I don’t like it and that is why I wrote many articles about it. These political ideologies of harming one another affects cohesion, unity, harmony, peace, nation building, and nationalism.
Its seem like only God Almighty who is all knowing, all present, and all powerful without danger, because his wisdom, knowledge, and justice are always leading equal to his power. As a human being and I have that God power, I would consume only United Nations security Councils which becomes source of world evil, and the South Sudan rebels in the name of Dinka because UNSC always like voting against governments in powers when the house is already caught by fire, and south Sudanese rebels who kill Dinkas thinking that killing Dinka is an absolute solution in South Sudan politics, but it is completely none to be define.
My problem is only the civil rights, that South Sudan government existed on its pillars such as Presidency, Legislature, and Judiciary to protect us from ourselves. There is no South Sudanese who is legible to kill whether rebel or government because these are these same people upon a day one may rule over them. This is very important as an American political philosopher Ronald Reagan said, “Government exists to protect us from each other. Where government has gone beyond its limits is in deciding to protect us from ourselves.” Such a protection is needed now, where South Sudan government gone beyond its limitation, should provide protection from wild South Sudanese.
My house is on fire and what should I do? To get out of your own house is the best option. As soon as your house is caught by fire, and you see smoke alarm or seeing flames of fire, you immediately shout fire, fire, fire, fire no matter how tired you maybe, and you have to alert others in the house for possible safety. This is exactly what I do when I said, let the government legalize target killing in South Sudan although no government can allow on earth, so that when another President come to power, we will go to bush and target his/her community because it becomes a political ideology in our national affairs.
It is a conflict between what is practical, valuable, and sentimental because it reflects interest, background, and priorities of how South Sudanese are looking after powers since 1990-2016. There is no end of rebellion in South Sudan. You go denounce government, and call it government of Dinkas and kill Dinkas on high ways, and denounce rebellion again and come back with high ranks into the same government, and being officially announce on SSBC as Major General or Lieu ternate General, but when others saw it as an opportunity, they rebel too to obtain that high position, so the war and rebellion will not end soon as we buried essences of accountability and responsibility in the Republic of South Sudan.
In fact most of fires occur in kitchens while cooking and our Kitchens as South Sudanese where our home caught fire are Legislature, Judiciary, and Presidency. This is where south Sudan political fire cost us everything. If you find anyone die in your house, you must be answerable. The fire which caught house in Equatoria has someone die in your house is a big problem, and all Members of Parliament from Equatoria have finally answer questions to me.
In Jonglei State, we have many Equatorians working in NGOs, UN, and some with government, and business people. Can we kill eleven of them to supplement our eleven sons and daughters killed on 30th September 2016? I don’t think it is a wise idea but why are Equatorians failed to analyse this? Which mean we are the only people with heart of humanity in South Sudan, and others are qualified to kill? All of us in South Sudan are human being, and we should abide by law of humanity, respect my life and I respect yours, fear my life and I fear yours, and God the creator who created lives.
The sole solution to South Sudan political conflicts is not replacing Kiir, but it is lying in two cultures of SPLM to adapt new paradigm. First is to persecute wrongdoers whether being facilitated by this government, or other governments to come in future as an answer to relatives of the victims. Or second give oil sector to American companies, and Agriculture sector to rescue civil population from political game played by super powers, whose deals are only profits, and benefits of creating war zone in South Sudan like Libya, Iraq, and Syria to achieve their ultimate goal of accumulating wealth from developing Countries.
Although 4000 UN strong troops may come, they will instigate more instability because UN forces are worldwide qualified for instability, and insecurity by funding rebels, for instance Rwanda in 1994, Benghazi in Libya in 2011, Central Africa republic, Syria etc, and left people in mess afterward, so who knows UN may not creating instability or stability in South Sudan since current government is struggling against plans and deals set by America through UN, IGAD, TROIKA, and AU. God the only person trust by me rather than good will claim themselves concern about people and situation in South Sudan. God bless South Sudan.
