December 3, 2016 (SSB) — We are in doubt either Jonglei state students will lead this year in South Sudan Certificate of Secondary Examinations given the fact that our teachers of both primary and secondary schools have been on strike for the last

11 teachers have been terminated and 30 others remain in jailed accused of snatching the timetable from the examination centers, threatening the government and unlawful strike that went on for two months.

Despite being the most affected state during the past few years of South Sudan crisis it was ranked the best in 2015/2016 South Sudan Certificate of Secondary Examination (SSCSE) SSCSE.

Their feeding remains in question and their release is questionable because the law will take it cost. Besides their imprisonment, the teachers want to hold the person who issued the warrant of arrest accountable. Our children examination on December , 2016 seems to be great doubt.

We call upon our government to resolve the issue of teachers immediately so as not to affect our children’s performances in South Sudan Certificate of Secondary Examinations and Jonglei state Certificate of Primary Education.

I wonder who should be held accountable if the children fail to perform better this year.
