January 4, 2017 (SSB) — The Bishop of the Anglican church of South Sudan Peter Bol Arok call for peace, repentance, forgiveness and reconciliation in the county during the 4th ordinary session of Diocesan Synod at St. Michael
He said “as Christians we need lasting solution to South Sudan conflict that has presided”, we may not be able to mediate between the rebels and the government of South Sudan, but as men and women, we need to repent, reconcile, turn to God and believe in him.
Bol believe that God love South Sudan for which the conflict between the rebels and South Sudan government didn’t broke out on 9th July 2011 which was the Independence Day.
Bishop Bol appeal to all South Sudanese citizens to forgive one another and forget about past as Jesus shown his kindness to His disciple and do the will of His Father.
During the Anglican diocesan synod, the Episcopal Church of South Sudan and Sudan Bishops visited Anglican in Wanglei church St. Michael on 30th Dec, last year.
The Bishop of Wanglei Diocese Zachariah Manyok Biar call for unity toward the development of Twic central (Nyuak) in term of spiritual and the cultural activities.
Manyok also believe that peace has return to Wanglei after conflict between Ayual and Dachuek communities in 2010, he said “reconciliation has started between bishops of Episcopal church of South Sudan and the bishop of the Anglican of South Sudan” he added that the pastors are freely invited for preaching between the two churches accepted administrative issues.
Gabriel Thuch Agoth is the bishop of Kongor Diocese, Thuch warning all pastors of the Anglican Church and the episcopal in Twic East and the other areas to do works for pastors and avoid challenging each other for the wrong doing in the church.
In Maar, Twic Bishop Ezekiel Diing Ajang, call upon youths in five former Payams of former Twic East to protect their properties and the community.
