How I prayed and my wishful Prayers for the Land of South Sudan

March 20, 2017 (SSB) — On July 9th 2011 a nation was born out of protracted armed struggle and many years of pain, suffering and oppression. The ideals of the liberation war for freedom; freedom from oppression, freedom from racism, freedom from human indignity and violation, freedom from poverty, marginalization coupled with the urgent and pressing need for the development of South Sudan were the driving force behind the fight for liberation.
In every prayer for repentance and forgiveness, there are things to be asked and things to be disowned. What have South Sudanese asked and what have they disowned?
Personally I have solicited for national wisdom such that South Sudanese can be able to separate the bias from the realities and forward diplomatic connote of tackling them and totally forget the sightless beliefs on the immovable tribes, tribe can never be dismantled but bias can be discouraged, fought and dismantled. The tribal holler and hypothesis are giving an upper hand to individuals who have hidden their political aggressiveness behind the tribal curtains.
I had indeed prayed against all kind of odds happening in South Sudan, against ignorant, political creativity and jokes, negative utterances and social media propagandas, poor services delivery, political, social and economic unfaithfulness and still asking God to give us hearts for peace, Love and forgiveness.
People of South Sudan have to stand up for peace and forgiveness, misinformation and loathing will never heal the suffering rather than increasing it, a share of thoughts and opinions can never be achieved amid fighting and disgust. May God give an insight of love to the people of South Sudan this year and beyond.
It is an obligatory appeal to you, to pray wherever you are; whether in the bush, in Juba, in the villages, in the West, in the East, in Exiles, in IDPs Camps, in Refugees Camps, in diplomatic and educational missions, employed or jobless because South Sudan is a land that can never be killed or poisoned.
And for the sake of our history and children’s future let not aimlessly and blindly bury the efforts that led to our Independent and the future of our numerous generations that will come.
It was said during the liberation wars by our liberators that they were fighting the Arabs in order to liberate their children who are majorly most of us today, we should not repeat the same phrasal again because we are now what they were struggling for and now for our state of affairs we have to sit down with civility, generously and agree.
God causes sun to rise on both the evil and the good and sends rain on the righteous and unrighteous Mathew 5:44-45. A wise farmer cannot burn his whole field because of wild weeds; he has the capacity to pull them out without uprooting his cultivation.
Cry and Pray for your motherland cherish sons and daughters of the humble and mighty Junubeeh Sudan, you as an individual has the will of freeing the nation from the present yoke of suffering.
Gladly and hopefully God himself is happy with sinners who give him time and call him for forgiveness. May God turn his Mercy to the Land of South Sudan.
