Murder is inhuman and can never be justified to solve South Sudan problems

By Mading Abraham Majur, Juba, South Sudan

May 9, 2017 (SSB) — Whereas the unfortunate murder and general suffering of innocent South Sudanese caused shock fear and has generated debate in the world, and whereas the right to life has overwhelming value in our community that overshadows all the arguments. South Sudanese believe that right life is inherent in the human person created in the image of God.

It is our considered opinion as South Sudanese citizens and government supporters that killing a human being can not be used to reach or address any political purpose or revenge with a view of giving a lesson to deal or to others or even repair a disrupted order. It is in itself evil and inhuman. Therefore, to use these intrinsically evil actions to reach a good end is to indulge in the Machiavellian, principles that the end justified the means.

Jesus said; do the others what you would like others to do to you. I call upon the international community and Troika to advice to advice Dr. Machar, killers to reflect and reverse time to consider the fact that human beings are only a reflection of God love that must not be abused in ambushing the innocent civilians on the roads because of this tribal political affiliation.

We all knows and the government of South Sudan that even those apparently wanted culprits have parents, children, wives and relatives who can equally feel the same pain of those affected families gone through if we all need to apply this dirty game.

I personal therefore, condemn in the strongest terms the killing of innocent women and children between Juba via Bor road by Gen. Thomas Cirilo, groups. Such act of lawlessness being perpetuated by planners of the unfortunate execution in board day light. I call upon the government of South Sudan and evil planners not to forget the fact that we shall all account to God of we are doing.
