Minority Fools and Political Illiterates Partition Jonglei State into Two

October 17, 2017 (SSB) — Men with little political education are very dangerous, they are always responsible for the division, death of people, lack of development, and poor economy; they thrive through chaos and tantrums. Today Jonglei is divided in order to increase chances of ruling by expanding administrative structures.
This was the unprecedented wrong decision taken by minority fools and political illiterates in the so-called “Jonglei State Legislative Assembly.”
This is not the time and the need for two states is not warranted. I think in the future when peace and stability are attained in South Sudan, our people would be engaged through the referendum in order to take a well-informed decision.
This would be the best method because it provides participatory democracy where people of Jonglei would exercise their democratic rights in determining whether a division of the State enhances peace, cohesion, economic development, and security or impedes the same.
Today, our people are under immense despotic pressure in the country. Our young men are targeted and killed in Juba by State vigilantes called the “unknown gunmen” but our leaders working with Juba regime have failed to get to the bottom of what killed the young educated generation of Jonglei State.
Instead, their colleagues are busy partitioning the State for positions. Cobra faction a State militia responsible for ethnic cleansing in Jonglei State is at large and its threats are dangerous for the community yet our leaders are dinning with them in Juba.
It is a tragedy we all need to face and reject for prosperity. We can’t divide people who have the considerable handful of land and political enemies, we need to build them, we need to provide cohesion, a cushion for defense. No to a division of our motherland.
