Michael Makuei Lueth in his picking purse, Minister Michael Makuei Lueth who is a Lawyer by Profession, graduated in 1975 with Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Khartoum

After his graduation, Justice Michael Makuei worked as a Legal Counsel and a judge before he joined SPLM/A where he rose to the rank of senior military commander, during the civil war he served as the SPLM/A’s Secretary and Commissioner for Legal Affairs.

After the signing of CPA in 2005 Justice Michael Makuei Lueth became the Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development, Minister of Parliamentary Affairs in the Republic of South Sudan, he was a leading member of South Sudan team of negotiators who attended talks on post-partition issues between Sudan and South Sudan where he is currently serving as the Chairperson of South Sudan Joint Border Commission.

Michael Makuei as he is popularly known is currently the Minister of Information, Communication Technology and Postal Services in the Transitional Government of National Unity, Republic of South Sudan and also the Government Spokesperson.

Hon. Michael Makuei is a distinguish opinion crusher and debater who without the doubt can extracts character out of passive debaters, Anyone who has ever attended a debating session precisely knows how facial toughness, composure and enthusiastic defend can lead to an impression of audiences, Hon. Members and adjudicators, the smart presentation is always recompense with impressive rewards and public applause.

Hon. Michael Makuei fit both arms of the debating traits, he is an elegant Justice who never called the spoon a small spade, he never gets tired of opposing what he see incongruous and can never sit back when he has something to propose.

His responses are always amusing and timely, he is among the leaders who cannot watch episodes in silent, he has tremendously grappled down bountiful accusations, doubts and wild rumors since the outbreak of South Sudan conflict in December 2013.

Hon. Minister Michael Makuei in an open and unbiased observatory space is a serious and humorous proposer and opposer, and in an honest and momentary look, such persona is always needed in any society where actions and suggestions are needed for comprehensive progress.
