Impose Local sanctions on Murle for their criminal acts on Anyuak, Dinka and Nuer

December 5, 2017 (SSB) — Compatriots, the simultaneous attack of Murle to innocents’ citizens of Duk of Dinka Bor and Tedo (Daktek) in the Anyuak kingdom and other places in Bong Nuer areas shouldn’t be tolerated. Murle is the most aggressive primitive people. They went far to abduct kids from Ethiopia. That behavior is not acceptable in the Republic of South Sudan.
This is the appropriate time for greater Jonglei people to come together and address the crimes against humanity being practiced by Murle community. The Murle community leaders, stakeholders, and youth have tremendously failed to administer, govern and control themselves.
They continue violating all agreements between Boma state and Jonglei State for our beloved people including Murle to live in peace and harmony. But rude criminals continuously abduct children, women, and killing innocent people.
The number of children abducted in Pochalla during the Month of November alone was five children and 12 persons killed, and in Jalle Bor killing above 50 persons and incidents in Duk County killing at least 45 persons, including women, children, elderly people and UN, NGOs staff.
Murle are powerful why? Murle were armed to the teeth by Khartoum authorities through Ismail Konyi in 1984 to fight SPLA/M, Murle were armed again to the teeth by Khartoum system through David Yauyau in 2011.
Therefore Murle has power to abduct, Raid cattle, kill Nuer, Dinka, Anyuak, Jie, and Kachipo.
The approach to address these crimes against humanity amicably are as follows:
- Impose Local sanctions on entire Murle to repent for failing miserably to administer themselves.
- No Murle to be appointed at national level institutions including Bilpam for (10) ten years to let them go back home and educate their people to have. Conducive environment.
- Murle to be disarmed by the people of Greater Jonglei (The Nuer, Dinka, Anyuak, Kachipo, and Jie).
- Hon Governor Ismail Konyi to be sent to ICC, or alternatively to Rumbek prison in Agar area for a good number of years.
- Suspend all activities of UN NGOs in Boma state for them to accept real roundtable peace talks.
- All position leaders, please kindly, do not accept recruitment of Murle in your organization and do not provide them with ammunition, weapons or other instruments.
My condolences to the families of victims in Anyuak, Dinka, and in Nuer areas.
