Girls are not just keepers, but potential leaders who need education like others

December 10, 2017 (SSB) — Girls’ education goes beyond getting girls into school. It is also about ensuring that girls learn and feel safe while in school; complete all levels of education with the skills to effectively compete in the labor market; learn the socio-emotional and life skills necessary to navigate and adapt to a changing world; make decisions about their own lives; and contribute to their communities and the world.
Girls’ education is a strategic development priority. Better educated women tend to be healthier, participate more in the formal labor market, earn higher incomes and enable better health care and education for their children, should they choose to become mothers. All these factors combined can help lift households, communities, and nations out of poverty.
Every day, girls face barriers to education caused by poverty, cultural norms and practices, poor infrastructure, violence, and fragility. Girl Child Education is one of the safest routes that can navigate girls out of social problems.
Investing in girl child education is one of the best choices any present society can do, girls are symbols of calmness and social peacefulness; it is the girl who grows into fine family woman, wife and aunt across the societal sphere.
It is a clear fact that women, in general, are custodians of care, humanity, honesty, and humbleness. Educating a girl child before she becomes a wife will help her to become a responsible and caring mother to her children, husband, and the entire society.
Girl education is the best tool that can enhance strong family and society socio-economic foundation base on consciousness, inclusiveness and caring. Educating girls could help in balancing of societal equilibrium ladder of justice, equality, and social cohesiveness, our women are our pride and they should be empowered through education.
Girls are not just keepers, looking at their humble traits within our families, communities and places of social gathering girls are wonderful and industrious, providing them with quality and formal education can be of highest benefit to the society.
Majority of them have been assumed to be toddlers’ keepers and housekeepers by their parents and the entire society but when we look keenly into the task of babies’ caring and housework one cannot fail to see the greatest leadership potential that is associated with such tasks.
This manifested that girls are not just keepers they are indeed family guardians and caretakers. Such belief should be supported by taking the girls to schools, with the education our girls can bravely and smartly handle the glorious face of humanity, responsibilities, and leadership. Let educate our girls and our society will be bright full of kindness and humbleness.
Education is key and the key is power.
