December 20, 2017 (SSB) — South Sudanese have been known for flexibility, understanding and self-possession for ages and definitely, it has been evidenced during the last four Christmas and New Year Seasons by all who were concerned.

May the grace of our Lord keep on giving the wind of hopes to the resilient people of South Sudan today and beyond the Year 2018. No year can be a bed of roses to all but for the sake of humanity and how we were created by God in his own image as his divine children; the pain of another must be the pain of another.

Whitish basket of happiness is the joy for all, people of South Sudan have gone through many passages of distress, and that has not allowed them to see the beauty of who they are on the furthest end of the mirror, brawny courage and confidence will optimistically push aside all the obstacles that have blocked the popular peace’s path.

Genuine success comes only to those who are ready for it, as such people of South Sudan must accept their sins and repent and the mighty plan of the Lord will be revealed.

We are children of the highest and we (South Sudanese) should not see ourselves isolated, the nation of South Sudan must prepare for the end year and New Year’s Prayers themed on love, Peace, forgiveness and reconciliation.

We must seize any opportunity available that will pull us out of the off-putting conflict, we should all pray and stay warm and evocative ‘bye bye’ to the bad pasts of 2017 down to 2013.

Christmas and New Year arrive with hopes and it offers believers new courage and belief for a very new start.

This coming Year 2018 citizens of South Sudan as individuals not as parties and groups must take a new plunge into the ocean of hope and optimism and free themselves from all grudges and sadness of many misfortunes that have happened since the conflict began years ago.

We should not bitterly dream of our bad pasts for they are there to scatter the clouds of hope.

Courage, opportunism and mistakes acceptance are the true sign of popular peacemaker, Cheers to 2018; it’s time to unfold new pages and start a new chapter in our lives.

May the year 2018 give South Sudanese the opportunity to realize their long due dreams, rediscover their strengths, muster their willpower and rejoice the simple pleasures that peace would bring to their way.

Let this Christmas be a period of reflection on our past and project to better them the years ahead of us, Let us show greater love and care for one another wholeheartedly in this year.

Four bitter years of bad memories have passed, may this New Year 2018 bring immense peace and consciousness to our lives. I am wishing a very South Sudanese wherever He/she might be a prayerful Christmas and unifying New Year 2018.

Ask and it will be given; knock and it will be opened, the Bible says.
