The economy of my nation is moaning, it’s not booming
My nation is oozing, it’s not booming,
My nation is looted, it’s not booming.
Booming or improving the economy!
It’s better to buy gums instead of guns,
It’s better to buy bull instead of bullets (arm embargo)
It’s now better to buy a donkey instead of a diesel (fuel crisis),
It’s better to buy huts instead of hats,
It’s better to buy geese instead cheese.
Booming or improving? It’s Oozing, moaning and looted
What will be Booming?
Buying siko (locally made) instead of buying sugar (Dollar Crisis),
Buying salt instead of salata (imported from Uganda)
Buying flour instead of plot ( Land ta nina nyakamu )
Buying ice-cream instead of eye-cream (health crisis)
Buying spoon instead of stool,
Buying Soap instead of Saup,
Buying plates instead of plating,
To buy Sorghum instead of Sausage,
To by tea leaf instead of T-shirt,
Buying Soda instead of Soya-bean
Buying lotions instead of lodging (HIV& Hepatitis virus).
Is it Booming or Improving?
