The 4th Convention of the SPLM NLC: The Attempted Reincarnation of the SPLM

May 4, 2018 (PW) — The midwives gathered in the birth city earlier in the week for the imminent reincarnation of the GOP or Grand Old Party as diehards recently referred to the SPLM. The process leading to the eventual rebirth had started in the year 2014 in Tanzania Arusha. Since then it moved to various capitals including Cairo, Kampala, Addis Ababa and Cape town at the bottom of the continent. This is not an easy task.

Its philosophy is that if one used to do good things, he/she can appear in a higher form to that he/she used to be. A human being who used to lead excellent life would be born as a cow. On the other hand, those who used to do bad things or led below par life would be born as lower creatures in form. Rats, cockroaches and even mosquitoes are some of those reincarnation result.
The second philosophy is found in the great Bible when Jesus was asking his followers that, how can anyone put the new patch onto old wineskins?
People of South Sudan know better the form the planned reincarnation of the SPLM would take based on the past physical existence of the organisation. This is informed by whether it was doing good things or bad in its former life pre – 2013.
The old SPLM at this point in time cannot be reborn as a whole and proper organ. SPLM IO (Riek’s faction) remains in the bush. SPLM Former Detainees under former SG are in and out of the government of national unity. Now, it’s the two fractions under Kiir and Taban that are attempting to coalesce in the test tube.
