General, that liberated generations,
A leader, that led thousand to freedom,
A fighter that fought for life and liberty.
A comrade that commanded comrades.
A general like no other,
A liberator of his nation,
A leader that none will forget.
Above the clouds, you ascended,
Above the stars, you hover with our heroes.
A general that joined his comrades
A general that fought like a tiger,
Forever we are free. Thank you, Baba!
But, Forever, we will miss you more!
Forever, we will miss your writings!
A general that gave all for all,
With pride, you ascended to heaven.
With a smile, you left a country, South Sudan
But in tears, we weep, your death tore us apart.
Rest in Peace General, SALVA MATHOK GENGDIT!
