tribalism in rss

Friday, June 8, 2018 (PW) — On Jan 11, 2018 I wrote a piece in form of a response to my brother Manyang David Mayar’s response: “New year is for proactive persons and not reactive individuals.” Manyang was responding to brother Zack Mayul’s statement: “Who really cares about the new year?”

In the process of discussion or rather the intellectual war of words, the “discussion” went soar whereby Manyang bursted bitterly, “wun lei cem e joo yin thin” , “I will treat these comments as Zack friends one-sided comments which are not honest.”

I was not impressed at all and even regretted why I involved myself at the first place but as the Bible goes, “Do not let the sun go down on your wrath.” I dropped the matter. It wasn’t that easy but I just let it go since I am a firm follower of Jesus Christ.

Perhaps, with enough insult and shaming, Africans would rise up from their slumber. There is a reason why China observes ‘National Humiliation Day’” – writes PaanLuel Wël on Facebook

shithole

January 14, 2018 (SSB) — Why does it raise an eyebrow when Trump calls Africa “shit-hole” and the likes? Yet when Western media refers Africa as war-torn, drought-stricken, conflict-prone, diseased-filled zone just to name a few, we pretend as if nothing has been said?

Are we being fair enough here to embrace Western Media at the expense of Trump? I know West has corrupted our mind to turn a blind eye but that does not stop us from soliciting truth from figures such as Trump and many other slaves of authenticity.

He was by himself throughout his childhood despite present of both his parents. Whilst his sisters were bestowed much care and love he was neglected.

The diseases seriously and thoroughly brutalized him and no one gave a heck.

At an early age, Kwashiorkor bungled his legs and no one gave a damn. Yet he survived.
