Amum and Machar signed off South Sudan’s sovereignty to foreign occupants for a cheap price

“I never joined the government, I was not in any position in the government, I have not joined even the SPLM in government (SPLM-IG). We came to implement the Arusha Agreement. I have been reinstated as the Secretary General of SPLM, not the Secretary General of SPLM in the government,” Pagan Amum Ukiech in Addis Ababa.
August 22, 2015 (SSB) — Based on his above statement, Pagan Amum puts his foot on his mouth many times more other politicians yet he thinks is the prince waiting for throne.
Pagan Amum who nickname himself recently as a change man is not and did change very much even by an each. If he did, he must have changed from his exile resident to Juba yet he is still a rebel deep in the bottom of his heart! When Pagan Amum touched down in Juba international Airport some few months ago, their arrival left the public with mixing feeling.
People were in great dilemma either to condemn him with his colleagues as traitors or welcome them as heroes! However, I was not any different from the general public but I did welcome their return with hope that their arrival would be the beginning of the nation need trust building.
However, I was wrong because Amum is not any different from toxic rebels in jungle and the rest of G10 who refused to come home but I praise them because they are honest public enemies. However, Pagan and his few colleagues arrived to Juba recently but they were praying like hyena for God to let them get in and once they are in; they will fight within for the common good of rebel allies in exile and some fifth columns rebels in the midst.
Therefore, either Pagan is committing a political suicide or he knows what he is doing! Otherwise, how could a clever fox goes on the cliff of the same tree he wants to cut down and hope he would survive? Indeed, when Pagan second coup of pushing South Sudan to sign off its life fail to materialize, Pagan showed his true color by remaining in Addis Ababa and claims that he will wait for the President to sign the peace.

Again, What SPLM/A- IO leader Riek Machar and Pagan Amum of SPLM- FD G10 did by rushing to sign IGAD-Plus Compromise peace Agreement means they want out of political life but they did it wrongly? This peace agreement will not bear fruits. If this sellout peace become permanent, Mr. Amum and Mr. Machar would only get their share for only 3 years interim period and say goodbye to politics.
After transition government, they will be taught a hard lesson for their role in destruction of South Sudan by their constituencies.
First of all, Amum and Machar fail to serve South Sudanese for the last 8 years before they rebel! In 2013, they push so hard for a premature political change to unlimited until their unneeded change exploded the nation to coup but they did not see it coming? If they did and ignore it, then they are traitors, selfish and careless to earn the Public trust to lead the nation in the future! If they did not see it coming, then they do not fit to lead because they are reckless and dangerous to take care of human’s lives.
Finally, they signed a wrong agreement that nationalists who dream of becoming national leaders one day in the future cannot sign it even if they are peasants. They sellout the nation because they know they lose the public trust! Instead of using proper channels of getting power, they did it wrongly because they are naïve politically.
Therefore, I believe comrade Pagan Amum and Beny Riek Machar signed their political careers off and they should prepare to bury careers off in their backyards. Otherwise, there would be no more appointment and political accommodation for those who would lose next elections because of this grave mistake of disloyalty to the nation, power hungry to sellout national pride to foreign colonizers just to get seats.
It is a great mistake if someone feed grown child who bites the fingers that feed him or her.
Security Arrangement is Insecurity Mass
Beny Pagan Amum and beny Riek Machar and there likes, need to convince the public! What is good about this peace? IGAD- Plus’s compromise Peace Agreement especially the security arrangement?
If the security arrangement advocates for South Sudan to commend 2 separate armies in one nation, one under the command of SPLM/A- Io C in C Under Riek Machar and other under C in C of NDFSS President Salva Kiir! According to the Security Arrangement, National army –well-known as SPLA army is renamed into NDFSS. Which stands for National Defense Forces of South Sudan? I know South Sudan need peace badly but our historical movement should not be renamed by foreign occupants in exchange for peace.
Therefore, this Compromise Peace Agreement cannot and should not be signed by someone who calls himself nationalist because it puts the country in inevitable war before the end of the interim government.it destroys SPLA army the historical movement. As a result, these gentlemen are turncoats.
Mr. Amum and Dr. Machar need to convince the public what would prevent the rebel army from violating this agreement within 3 years. How would government troops respect this peace that makes them equal with rebel troops once they think and view them as enemies? Again, I am afraid that Machar’s army will build up its military capability to be ready for any challenge ahead. If they find themselves in strong position, they would even try to test the water again as in 2013. Worst of all, most of this army has a grudge against the government and that grudge may force them to violate this agreement intentionally.
On the other hands, government will build up its troops and makes them ready for any challenges. Therefore, 2 separate armies in one nation is a very slippery slope and that doesn’t need a crocket scientist to see this Lethal and dangerous disaster ahead. Consequently, it’s a sellout if Amum and Machar sign this peace with full knowledge of all these consequences ahead. Signing this document is no brainer decision Pagan and Machar have ever made. This peace agreement set ups South Sudan national security into a volatile political environment.
Another equal sellout agenda is a formula of demilitarization of the capital city –Juba to 25km radius outside of the capital city! If Riek Machar of SPLM/A-IO and Pagan Amum of FD -G10 want to quit politics for their given scandal baggage, they should leave political arena and live in their huts as noble citizens! Otherwise, what they have signed is a political suicide one way ticket to have their share in transitional government but their chance of being elected, trusted by South Sudanese public to lead them in the future, would be zero chance.
Like many South Sudanese, I advocate for peace as soon as possible but not a peace that would be violated before even an ink dries. South Sudan needs peace now but not the worst peace that puts their lives in a nightmare. All peace loving South Sudanese and friend should advocate for a just peace for poor mass to resume their normal lives but not kind of peace designed by foreign occupants to steal national resources. Not a peace that means to reward hungry politicians such as Mr. Amum, and Dr. Riek and send them to Juba for political honeymoon.
No two armies in one nation
No demilitarization of capital cities
No, and no peace if the document renames SPLA army
IGAD-Plus Compromise Peace Agreement is meant to crown Mr. Amum and Dr. Machar to throne but too bad your ascension to throne is not closer yet.
