I’m not a friend of war but I’m being compelled to advocate for it!!!

The Tug of War: Let the tussle it out by themselves but avoid involving our people in their corrupt games.

September 1, 2015 (SSB)  —  I’ve learned that the final peace Agreement inked by President Kiir is just very inconsequential and nonsensical. It’s an Agreement signed under the menaces of sanctions because the prominent top leaders do not want their assets freeze by Mr. Troika, UN and maybe the IGAD.

Well, I believe putting my signature in the document I’m being threatened to ink, is and will never be workable in the long run simply because I find that it’s not through the questions of convenience and politically negotiated settlement.

This point would definitely be realized and understood when we recall to our minds how many Agreements have been signed yet violated, and how long has both President Kiir and Mr. Machar been inconsistent to ink the latest final Agreement. Have they known only in the last minute that the people of South Sudan need Peace?

Particularly, I remember President Kiir once had said that if he signs the initial IGAD Peace Proposal which provided (just as in the latest document) reinstatement of Mr. Riek into his former Vice presidency, he definitely would go against the national Constitution.

What has changed in this final peace accord? Does this Agreement he has signed provide another position for Riek apart from the former, he (Kiir) had said could be unconstitutional?  Were the threats of sanctions and arms embargo not existing in the initially proposed document?

Comprehensively, Kiir might be afraid of sanctions probably if he has been targeted by the world supper nations wishing to accommodate their interests in South Sudan natural riches, but that absolutely is never the finest decision to make.

The greedy Troika States have been apparently portraying their backup for Mr. Riek because they’ve got the promise that they could be permitted to steal oil and other natural resources in South Sudan if Riek were to be back in the government.

Nevertheless, South Sudan has similarly got the support from the likes of China, Russia and yes Israel, all make up the world supremacy. Therefore, if our country has become a war torn nation simply as a consequence of conflict of interests by the World Super Powers, then President Kiir should never have signed that final Agreement.

He should rather make China, Russia plus other world leaders accommodate their interests in South Sudan to show the world that it’s no longer the people of South Sudan fighting themselves as this could be resulting into World Super Powers getting involved in the South Sudanese war.

However, it’s deeply shocking that some African leaders mediating the peace process are arguably contributing to the continuous fighting in South Sudan. My friends

Ethiopian PM, Bashir of Sudan and Mr. Chief Negotiator hopefully will not doubt my point in the sense that some are dragging the process at the table, some providing weapons and others calling for sanctions against South Sudan.

Moreover, I still believe that some provisions in the signed document are apparently very unwisely incompetent. The provisions demanding for demilitarization of Juba, giving away Upper Nile to Machar and commanding two separate armies in the country are symbolizing something I would term as “Set up strategies and mechanisms of ousting President Kiir from Power”……

Finally, Kiir has faked the people of South Sudan for signing that final agreement but he should preferably be contented with Plan B which could bring about a durable peace agreement to the people of South Sudan after signing a fake document imposed by the greedy leaders.
