Students’ Bribe Lecturers to Pass Examination.

By Heskey Deng Machol

Without homicide time, I want to speak my minds in this opinion with incorrect Grammar, concerning what go off now in Uganda Universities, how the day today students turning the high institute of learning, from attending the lectures {sit class} to the bribery class, for them to leave the campus, if not, then he/she have to end up in the campus struggling for a possible way to run off the campus life.

University education has become trouble-free now a day, the shortcut is most common, whether you don’t attend the lectures, deserved to pass the examination through bribe.

Before my protest, don’t take it personally and you must know that, I love all of you than any ones, on my study, it was a wonderful day for me, I was about to dispatch the world without knowing such things, it has come to memories when I have seen most of the south Sudanese students {Arabic speaking} in Uganda’s Universities passed the examination with the shaggy – knowledge, which they can’t apply outside the campus.

To have bloody friend, is too vital, told me that, after I pay visited to his University, though you seen majorities of students here, they are just here for university’s name, to claimed, they are also in university like other brilliant students, but they are doing nothing so far, then I insisted asked him, what do you means, if they are here by body, how do they passed, seriously he burst to non-stop laughing, after he was satisfied with bored laughed, he said, you are still behind the bar, they passed through bribes the lecturers, giving cash to lecturer to him/her mark, I marvel and conceded asking him, come on again, did you means the South Sudanese students, who were studies in East Africa for twelve years, and enrolled into these Universities or those who just came from former foe country {Sudan} schools, man, you are really green, I don’t mind about his heckle name, he use to describe me, then he said, those who came from Sudan, as you mentioned, also known as “Arabic pattern” plus East Africa, students, who have forged document, {fake certificate}, are the ones suffering now,  are behind the inducement.

On this scenario, the Arabic speaking girls are mostly behind the games because their bribe was both effective on body and cash and few male Students are through multi-cash to the lecturer, but what I was not really sure, whether they also offer gay, as a bribe, not yet confirm.

In fact, they so called Arabic pattern, they just did English course for three months, then they enrolled in university for fun, but for your information, I’m also poor in English, in reality, they are fluent in speaking than me, but deprived in writing skills, they are unable to make a class presentation, even assignment, and they are claiming, they are in university, which university? Some didn’t know how to write his/her names correctly; their handwriting is like that of primitive Old Stone Age, even they don’t fear, just show up, half naked dressing in the campus, phony in speaking grumbling American English with murky thinking capacity, with futureless heart-wish, they want to be like American Musician Lil Wayne and Rihana, while they fool themselves, instance for them to be comfortable in an angle of 90 degrees, they want to be at an angle of 180 degrees with puny education, oh God!! Look such imaginary creatures.

This deeds, remind me the two years, I spent in Khartoum, Sudan, when I got South Sudan government scholarship to Juba University, Kadaru campus, although it was South Sudan University, it was operating under Khartoum government during the two decade of civil war and six years of CPA, my first leg in Kadaru campus, was trauma, the Arabic pattern students {south Sudanese}, they really scare us, booing us, this is not East Africa, where the examination set is too easy, this is Sudan, personally, I was scared,  I thought they are brilliant, shortly at the time of examination, things fall apart, they started making booking, these where I realized, they have strong mouth but premature mind.

At former Kadaru Campus, you can easy get them sitting in group out, preacher gossips, envoys and making deals while the lectures going on, reflect what I have seen in various Universities in Uganda, which  accommodated the Arabic pattern Student for money, for sure I don’t have problem with them, but I just saying the true,  they are gold-digger in Uganda, as some rented the hostel for day and night for commercial sex, instance for reading, and they kept cheating their parents, they are going well with their studies, then the parent will blindly accepted, saying he/she have child in the University, at the end of month, thousands of dollars mail to her/him, which she/he will spent a money of no sweat on night club, while the really people who have share with such money, are suffering in south Sudan.

With this nature of education, I lost appetite of education, because it has taken me and thousands of students in the worldwide warn a chair for every day, just to get degree, while others attend the lectures once a week ,  at the end of semesters/course, he/she will pass colorful through bribed means, what the hell!!!.

I was dying off, when I met my former colleague, who excepted in the University, while he was class six (6) dropped out in Kakuma, Kenya, in fact, we did friendly-modern greeting like that of 50 cent, as we are satisfied, He asked, are you still pursuing your degree, I nodded and accompany with yeah, then He hasty abusive the education system in south Sudan, I said, oh man, cool down, then I asked him, what are you doing in Kampala?, with no fear, He said, he is studied in KIU, I feel dead, then I asked, did you complete your secondary school, instance of answering the question, he appeared in the world of anger-shaking and sweating, make me feared even, but thank God, my phone rang, I say excused please, thank to caller who make me to purchased my freedom or  escaped the slap/abusive words from my wild colleague, but these was not first time to met him since He left Kenya, I met him in Juba at time I was admitted in Juba University, while he was look for job in police services, but till class six leaving.

Of course, KIU has became worse institution in Uganda, in term of bribery, because the hundreds of Somalia’s Students, who enrolled in KIU, were destroyed the system, they bribe lecturer, and told them, don’t worry, let me finish, I know, where I will go and defend my certificate, this language, is the one personalized by the South Sudanese Arabic Students and Certificateless Student, so take care of KIU now a day, not KIU of yesterday.

In response to this bribery and friendship education offered by the University’s administration to those students without secondary school certificate, make me to understand that, money can talk, not quality certificate any more, that’s why they admitted primary leaving.

The worst part of it, it has resulted to sleeping of university administration and loath of the lecturers, they didn’t teach the innocent-poor students anymore, they become absentees or enjoys wireless internet {Facebook chatting} in their staff room, and no one authorized them to teach.

Uganda Universities lecturers think that, they are hoodwinking south Sudan students, but they are also bamboozle their students, in fact, 2015, there will be no quality education, it will be swapped with quantity education, simply the current lecturers will be addicted to carrot, they will teach with bribe’s mouth, so Uganda Universities councils or senates need to sense back before they feels the cusp of destruction, as they knew, what goes around, come around.
