Protesters shot at by South Sudanese army
Al Jazeera has received new pictures of what appears to be South Sudanese soldiers firing on a crowd of unarmed demonstrators in the northwest of the country. At least nine people were reportedly killed in the town of Wau, where crowds had gathered to protest against the relocation of a local council building. The deadly incident occurred last weekend, but an anonymous source came to us with this amateur video. Al Jazeera’s Anna Cavell reports from Juba. Al Jazeera has asked the government of South Sudan to comment on the incident. We are still waiting for an official response.

these people were not killed while demonstrating but killed in the process of burning the central bank of south sudan in wau while others were trying to broke in central prison. indeed. they are outlaw or criminal the blame goes to the politicians in western Bahr-el-ghazal other than security forces who were invited to calm the situation.
