Was it ” coup rehearsal ” if not Coup Attempt?

A man with hidden Identity calling himself to be General south posted his article ” why truth is always bitter and most can’t swallow it “ on 11.jan.2014 rebutting my early article ” Hilde Jonnson: An inciting factor to genocide in south Sudan”. I wanted to respond on the same day, but ,I was in reading week preparing myself for my exams . I didn’t finish my exams but the increasing comments on my early article push give me with great pressure to write this article to explicate on what I know about the recent coup attempt in our country in which some people couldn’t believe to be “a coup attempt ” .
one needn’t to be a rocket scientist to clearly see and depict the recent insurgency in juba as a “coup attempt” by the disgruntled group or disappointed kicked in-but victims of 23.July.2013 by presidential decrees lead by prophet of Doom( Dr. Riek) backed by western powers (UK and UK) and international institutions or organisations like UN to size power by coup from the elected president .
mr. General South argue and described the what had happened in Juba on Sunday night of 15.12.2013 as ” a regime’s tactic to suppress the party opposition” . I will humbly say that it is good to express your thoughts and opinions but shouldn’t be biased and you shouldn’t be too blind to see what the real blind can see .
I can describe that as FOILED COUP ATTEMPT or UNORGANIZED COUP ATTEMPT . let’s me explain to you how the impatience- waiting Riek staged this coup attempt .
On Saturday 14.12.2013 Riek and his disgruntled group walked out of the National Liberation council meeting , Pagan Amum who didn’t attend the meeting because of his suspension and Deng Alor was in Ethiopia but came to Juba on Sunday morning . This coup attempt which has lead to rebellion has resulted from two consecutive defeats of motions in National Liberation Council meeting when Riek , Gier , Kosti and Rebecca Nyandeng and others proposed that they vote by a secret ballot instead of a show of hands; but the rules require that a third of those voting support such a motion and in the event it was defeated. They rise another motion challenging the appointment of staff by the President to the National Liberation Council; again the motion was defeated and also the National Liberation council had to pass the dismissal of Pagan Amum on Monday which was recommended by the investigation team lead by vice president Hon. Wani .
The defeat of their motions in the NLC and pending dismissal of Pagan Amum gave them no hope again but to boycott the Sunday evening meeting and plan to make coup against the president .
The disgruntled group were purely mislead by what had happened in Egypt on July.4.2013 when the army overthrow the elected president mr. Morsi and USA and UK didn’t condemn the coup nor sanction the Egypt . The case in Egypt which prompted the army to dispose the elected president is quite far different to relate it with internal crisis within the SPLM to stage the coup . the disgruntled group lead by Riek are nothing but opportunistic and myopic hypocrites who think that they can just easily exonerate themselves of overthrowing the government because of the internal crisis within the party and wanted to scavenge the party from derailing out of the vision . Here are their plans if they had succeed in overthrowing the government .
* Suspend the SPLM constitution.
* suspend the country’s interim constitution.
* Take Kiir to court for violating the country constitution.
* Take Kiir to court for violating the SPLM constitution , diverting from the SPLM’s objectives and visions .
* Take Kiir to court for failing to unite south Sudanese.
*Take Kiir to court for trying to form his own army and party to work with NCP
and several others . all what I have mentioned are their claims in 5.12.2013 press release read by batty Riek Machar .
I will give you ( General South ) the simple definition of coup in Cambridge advanced learner’s dictionary ” coup is a sudden deposition , often violent , an attempt to overthrow the government by group of people or politicians in a certain country by force” I think you can relate this definition to what had happened in south Sudan so that you can comprehend it well .
On Date:19.12.2013 , just 4 days days after the failed coup attempt , Riek talked to Aljezeera vie phone interview and he stated clearly that ” I am calling for the SPLA and SPLM to oust president Kiir , I have controlled much of the country and I am the one commanding the forces in Bor and other other parts of the country who are now fighting against the government forces ” . This statement shows that he had numerous of plans to ascend to the country’s top seat and that is why he opted for the rebellion when the coup failed to make him become the president .
I have no doubt on my mind that this is a planned coup sponsored by the western nations ( USA and UK ) backed up by the UN through Hilde Johnson . It is the not the first time for the USA to coach and sponsor group of politicians in a certain country to overthrow their elected government and back them to earn International recognition and work freely with any nation. USA backed Gen. Husni al-Zaim of Syria to overthrow the elected president mr.Shukri al-Kuwatli in April 1949. The coup was carried out with discreet backing of American Embassy in Syria in coordination with CIA chief in Newyork . Gen. Husni al-Zaim succeeded his USA backed coup and he carried out what he had agreed with USA , 1. Allowing the USA companies to build the ” Trans-Arabian pipeline . 2. signing a ceasefire with the Israel and several others which are the interest of the USA . USA and UK are unhappy with Kiir’s government because of oil contract that Kiir gave to China,Indian and Malaysia and that is why they are trying to change the current regime and install their puppets who will sign oil deal with them .
USA also backed Shiekh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani to overthrow his own father on 27.June .1995 and became the Emir of Qatar up to now . USA was interested to be given oil contract which The Emir did it when he came up . On 17.April .2012 , there were clashes within 30 military officers ( Emir ‘s security guards) outside the Emir’s palace which lasted for not more than 30 minutes and USA came out with strong words condemning the coup attempt against Emir.
It is world -shattering for every citizen who reasons to see USA and international community giving different definitions to the recent insurgency or coup attempt in juba calling it misunderstanding between the presidential guards. A coup is not called a”coup”when it succeeded , compare what happened in Juba to what had happened in Qatar in the above and draw your own conclusion .
