Hon. Minister of Interior, What about the Prostitution Practitioners!
By Deu Lueth Ader
The new cabinet has been set up last year, but the most joyful move was the ministerial order issued by the Hon. Minister of interior of having banned all the foreign motorcycle riders known as the boda-boda. The order has exhilarated the citizens of the country describing it as a courageous and apt start. The foreigners were so furious when they heard the order, but nevertheless; what you have decided has been hailed by the citizens.
The order was inclusive, but others like Ugandans re-acted in a way baffled us, they have taken the issue as if they were the target, it has been broadcasted recently that those who have been affected here in the south by the recent order are threatening the lives our brothers who are residing there. We should not be scared south Sudan is an independent sovereignty in one voice we urge you to keep on, because the ministry of interior is the underdog of the internal security in every country. So it is a constitutional obligation for the ministry to averting unlawful practices caused by the foreigners which are harmful sometime to the entire nation.
In regard to the aforementioned subject Hon, the Minister; the issue of prostitution being practiced by the foreigners is so disgust and deplorable. It is remorseful when such a things are allowed to happen in the face of our young ladies and youths, Southern Sudanese girls lived the most searing periods of the war, it is now your turn as a government to create an appropriate atmosphere for our young girls in order to maintain our values, we are hysterically denouncing such a practices.
Hon. the Minister, South Sudan is being ruined by the foreigners; there are a lot of disturbances pestering us as a citizens which are sometimes caused by the foreigners. It is now one step forward you have moved to ban them from riding what so called boda-boda but some acute problems remain untouched; on top of them “prostitution” “counterfeit” “Inhuman killings every now and then that plagued Juba towns and its environs”.
We are undoubtedly confident that you would try afresh your level best to put a lasting solution for it. We are the nation that binds by the cultures; it is not in our culture especially for unmarried girl to have a Sex in a business manner unless with whom she would marry. This is how it is in our culture but very unfortunate it will be imposed now on us since our country is become a theatre of the prostitution by the foreigners.
Hon, the Minister; these information is not out blue, you should take at least two hours in your time to roam around JEBEL MARKET, THE RANDOM LODGES SITUATED AT GUMBO down there you would find a small stalls used by the foreigners as the places where they exercise sex activities it is really a sad look. But to our reassurance your initial directives showed that you should put an end to all these things because we acknowledged your competency of doing that.
We urge you to stiffen directives without courtesy in dealing with foreigners, our intention is not to chase them away from our country or to mistreat them, but rather; we need them to behave respectfully they way we respect their laws in their countries. Let us not be intimidated; our brothers who are in neighboring countries do not involve in any unlawful activity but rather they contribute in boosting up the economy of those countries.
They rent a most beautiful and expensive houses in Nairobi, Kampala, and Addis Ababa, and the number our students studying there as well is a very great number which definitely the money they used to pay for their studies contribute undoubtedly to economy of those countries. So in what ground shall we be intimidated?
