Jonglei State Students in Uganda Reject Thanyang Jam Dhuor Generalized statement: S. Sudan students Union in Kampala switched allegiance to the Rebel posted on Sudan tribune on the 08th Oct,2014

We the Jonglei students studying in Uganda do reject, in the strongest terms possible, any association with a Generalized statement that was released by the “Ghost” Greater upper Nile students Union in Uganda that the S. Sudanese students Union in Uganda have switched allegiance to the rebels which was posted on Sudan tribune news website on the 08th Oct,2014.
We would like to inform the public that the so called Greater Upper Nile students Union in Uganda is a non-existing union and does not represent any students of Jonglei State studying in Uganda. Jonglei State students studying in Uganda do not have any Union or association either.
We strongly condemn the generalized statement by the self-acclaimed Greater Upper Nile Students Union leader;Thanyang Jam Dhuor and his cliques who are trying to express personal interests in the name of all the students of Greater Upper Nile region in Kampala and we further ask Thanyang Jam Dhuor and his group to refrain from writing any article or release any statement on anybody’s behave as they are not representative of any student in Greater Upper Nile.
We would like to inform the people of South Sudan, the people of Jonglei State and All South Sudanese in the Diaspora that the Students of Jonglei State in Uganda are supporters of the legitimately, democratically elected Government of the Republic of South Sudan under the Wise leadership of H.E. Salva Kiir Mayardit and are in full support of all efforts to bring peace and stability to our country. We are also committed to the Efforts of the Government of Jonglei state in delivering services to the people of Jonglei state and assure them of our continued support while studying in Uganda.
Finally, we challenge the students of Unity State and Upper Nile state who are affected by the illogically generalized statement to come out openly and express discontent with this irresponsible statement by Thanyang Jam and his group conspiring against the humble and dedicated students of the three states of Greater Upper Nile region.
We would like to reiterate, that there is nothing called the Greater Upper Nile students Union in Uganda and hence no statement will be attributed to any students of Jonglei State studying in Uganda as having switched allegiance to the Rebels.
