"We the willing, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have done so much, with so little, for so long, we are now qualified to do anything, with nothing" By Konstantin Josef Jireček, a Czech historian, diplomat and slavist.
Christ’s disciples were the basis of Christianity: John Garang’s Jesh el Hamaar are the basis of South Sudan!

Dear elders/readers,
–
Instead of writing how the teachers taught us the benefits of the hard work and how we suffered in so doing, in my normal style, this narrative will flow as such…
In 2013 years, 9 months and 14 days ago, The Christ came to us; at the age of 12, He answered questions from high priests; and after 30 years, John baptised Him. For three years, He preached to the multitudes the gospel in parables; and in preaching, He performed miracles! Playful and inattentive, the disciples enjoyed His company. However, Christ came into world for humanity and for God so they (God and humans) may unite, and in their unity, other spirits such as Angels, even demons, would respect humans!
For this reason, Christ apprenticed disciples in everything; He taught them how to pray, how to identify false prophets, how to rebuke demons and how to perform miracles for He knew He came for a purpose and nothing of the world(universe) and of the human’s flesh and blood exists forever. All disappears!
–
According to God’s plan and because of human’s fate (Christ born of a woman), Christ died on the cross and on the third day, God lifted Him from the dead; after 40 days on earth, He disappeared into the space and beyond it(space ), into the Heaven.
–
My dear elders/readers, Jesus never asked His mother, His step-father (Joseph), His brothers or His sisters to lead disciples in propagating the Gospels ; but He requested the capable people, God chosen people; today, Christianity nourishes the many and flourishes in unlikable places, in the pinnacle of these places, Africa emerged.

In 69 years, 3 months and 14 days ago, God sent a leader to South Sudan. Before he ( leader)finished his works. He picked his disciples and taught them the righteous suffering so they may not fear death when it comes for them. In so doing, he secured the future of the country. The fragility of our country has a solution and the solution is Jesh al Hamar (John Garang’s disciples). He taught them how to lead a country , how to develop a country and to heal wounds of a country!

Imagine this in Palotaka, a ten year old in a bottomless short, in a shirt with holes on his shoulders and all buttons missing but one, the cuffs of his shirt sleeves torn off, his palms scaled and tough, fingers and toes deformed, and sides of his soles bulged out with overweight jiggers. He dragged himself out from the teacher’s kitchen garden at 11:30 a.m in summer to the young woman sitting and humming under a mango tree. He asked for a drinking water! Guess what the woman aired as a response!

In absent of their husbands, some teachers’ wives proved themselves Jezebels of the liberation. They treated us with the lest regards; regards, which the 17th century accommodated in America for slaves from Africa. We sweated for their(teachers’ wives’) desires but without fragments of appreciation from them for what we did. As the time aged, we studied their cruelties, learned from their heartless motives and we became better workers (shock absorbers). We can build South Sudan!

Born to a polygamous family, I understand that a son demanding an inheritance of a 17 -year-old step-mother from a 75 -year-old- father is a sin punishable by death or by a terrible curse; however, some fathers persuade theirs elder sons to lead their (fathers’) families and for fathers’ assurances, their sons must sire the children of the 17 -year- old step-mother in their(fathers’ ) presence. South Sudan is like a 17- year – old – wife to many seniors who clinched to the powers and waged war when their powers withdrawn or threatened.
–
Could inheritance of a young woman happen in the case of South Sudan? On that day, South Sudan will overrun regions in terms of development, in terms of governance and in terms of education. Otherwise, prepare for the shame, return prodigal sons to “masters of governance” in the north! My elders/readers, you must understand my intention and that’s smooth transitions of governance and development to young people. Whatever good intentions you do in your houses must be done in South Sudan.
–
I believe my critics will offer examples of seniors in leadership in some countries, the mothers of democracy, countries such as States (USA) where senators aged or died in Washington, senators such as John MCcain and Joe Biden aged in Washington and Ted (Edward Moore Sr.) Kennedy died in Washington ; however, these people remain in Washington (government) as a will of the people not their own will.I appreciate some governors and ministers who embraced the idea of employing young people in some strategic positions in some states and ministries; however, these governors and ministers must capitalise on the idea more, especially in this bad time of our country.
–
John Garang didn’t execute the idea of preparing the disciples by himself but trusted elders like uncle Awet Akot and uncle Kuol Manyang whom God blessed us with their existence; they must finish the dream by fighting whole-heartedly with their power-hungry colleagues and transfer powers to young people.
–
In conclusion,
–
In African belief, asking for a responsibility, which elders suppose to own is considered evil wishful thinking; that a child with such thoughts, wish death to the elders. However, some intelligent elders observe and nurture leadership qualities in their children and confer responsibilities to them while they(elders) possess lives or far away from dementia. Such elders died or retire happy because they have satisfactorily finished their jobs.
–
My dear elders, time expires whether you want it or not! Some veterans have already soiled their achievements they acquired during the struggle; in this crisis, they waddle with no credits. Iste’maar al munthaam (an organised oppression) pumped in jesh el hamaar’s minds in Pinyudu, Palotaka, Moli Tokoro, Borongoli, Itang and Dimo could be a solution to crisis in our country!! We suffered for sake of this country so don’t you lose it!
