Re: Ayual and Juet community in diaspora position paper Regarding Nimule incident.

January 13, 2015 (SSB) —  In response to what we heard, and learned through several news outlets that Juet youth of Bor County and Ayual of Twic East County clashed in Nimule, Equatoria South Sudan.

Both clans administration from USA had a conference meeting and had contacted theirs Counterparts in Nimule to calm the situation and allow police to investigate the root cause. No fatalities report per our conversations with youth leaders in Nimule.

As we have witnessed from prior incidents, wrong reporting or mere generalization can Complicate and fuel the situation further. Incident as such could be used by others to advance Their hatred

We are here by informing South Sudanese and the general public that this incident should be Treated as an isolated incident between the two clans and should not be treated as Bor County versus Twic East County or Jalle vs Wangulei. It is Juet and Ayual issue and should be Deal with amicably by the authorities and the clans involved. Both community intentions is to bring a lasting solution to the conflict in Nimule.

In conclusion, we the Members of Ayual and Juet Community in Diaspora, USA in particular would like to see this conflict come to an end as soon as possible.

Signed by Juet and Ayual community Leaders in U.S.A:
