Statement by: South Sudan Peace Ambassador-Gatwech Koak Nyuon on Kenya Tragedy
By Gatwech Koak Nyuon.
As we mourn the tragic death of our fellow brothers and sisters in Garissa University, Kenya. It’s very sad and unfortunate to learn such a shaken move by the killers.
The sign of committing atrocities is a bad culture and no one in the World would entertain such barbaric activities. I condemn to the strongest term the killing of innocents and future generation of Kenya, Africa and the World. Students should not be targeted because they are future of the Nation.
I personally condemn the tragedy and I request the deceased’s family to accept my condolences on the fallen Heroes and Heroines in Kenya. I would like to mention to you that the World at large is with Kenya.
I also urge the Kenyan Government to revise its security policy by enhancing early warning so that citizens are aware of threat before it happens.
People are interlinking, so if there is problem it’s not Kenyans problem alone but it’s a World problem because it threats the human security. May the souls of Innocents University Students rest in peace and eternal life!
Blessings!
