May 22, 2015 (SSB) — The Embassy of Republic of South Sudan has stopped a political rally of former political detainees known as the SPLM G-10 from taking place in Kampala.
The SPLM G-10 led by the former Governor of Lakes State Chol Tong Mayai call for a political rally in Kampala ,however ,the Embassy as the administrative representative of the Republic of South Sudan in Uganda stopped the rally on the ground , that the SPLM leaders did not notify the Embassy.
The Embassy as the national authority of South Sudan in Uganda considers the rally as illegal.
From effect of today , South Sudan Embassy in Uganda is calling upon all South Sudan political parties to come and take permission from Embassy before any political rally take place in Kampala .
