South Sudan’s coat of arms, in which the eagle symbolizes vision, strength, resilience and majesty, and the shield and spear the people’s resolve to protect the sovereignty of their republic and work hard to feed it.

June 6, 2015 (SSB)  —   As the loyal citizen to the SPLM, government and the country, I will never keep quiet or conceal with little piece of opinion that would be useful if borrowed by the concern authority, telling the truth doesn’t means you are against the government or be tag as an opposition, if so then it would be a wrongful judgmental and will not be acceptable. South Sudan is exposed to the world as one of the failed States, through lobbies done by the removed government officials who are either in the side of  rebel leader Dr. Riek Machar or SPLM-G10.

We are in circumstances where we all need ourselves, simultaneously to challenge the world to invalidate the degrading statements “Failed State” against South Sudan. The world listed our country in the list of failed States because of our domicile political differences sourced by iniquitous politicians who wanted to grab power through violence after having predicted their political defeat if they were to go for democracy way of getting power (secret ballot box).

\Our domicile politics has wrong formula and that is why the country is in self-war, these politicians have connected their politics with tribes, regionalism and personal interest which are devastating. And everybody wanted to be a permanent politician and to be president, to be National Minister or Under Secretary in one of the National Ministries. Preaching divisively if not part of the government or being removed from the position through Presidential Decree.

I am only appreciating those who were removed as National ministers and they never rebelled against the Nation to kill innocent civilians. To mention few of these Nationalistic politicians are:

  1. Dr. Luka Tombekana Monoja; former National Minister of Health
  2. Anthony Lino Makana; former National Minister of Transport and Roads

South Sudan politicians should stop these attitudes of selfishness and embrace the spirit of patriotism, brethrens, and work together for the unity of our communities and to develop the country to join the rest of world’s developed countries. Being removed from the position doesn’t mean you aren’t wanted; there comes time for reappointment decrees; that is the phenomenon of how governments work all over the world.

There are two sides, appointment and removal, since it wasn’t your private firm expects removal anytime if decided by the Boss who appointed you. Your removal gives chance to the government to try how others can also deliver services to the public.

It’s sagacious if all citizens, Religious Leaders and our local paramount chiefs of South Sudan stand with assurance to help government in searching for peace, and stop criticizing the government on baseless grounds, peace will comes within few days. Let us know what we should need first then follows by this and that. When two brothers are fighting and you want to let them stop fighting, don’t be bias on the process of disengaging them, don’t blame one side in fact advocate for their reconciliation which the best solution for solving problems.

Our political inconsistency which leads to rebellion of a certain group of politicians immediately after their removals from power has negatively contributed on how other countries perceiving about South Sudanese people. We are known for the lack of sympathy only because of this senseless war caused by those who wanted to be employed in government for their lifetime.

Both Rebels and G10 were having one conspiracy against South Sudan, and that is to oust current government which stopped them from looting, so they can continue looting its resources into their foreign Bank Accounts, it is impossible!

They are ones campaigning strongly in foreign countries to stop supporting South Sudan diplomatically and economically. And our posted Ambassadors by the Ministry of foreign Affairs and International Cooperation are excessively unenthusiastic.

They feared to vilify the attitudes of both South Sudan enemies because these Ambassadors decided to bear two faces, one loyal to the government and the other one to the opposition; incase if opposition won, still they will maintain their employment status.

Our government, particularly the SPLM which is the ruling party in South Sudan should have borrowed from   neighboring countries, how their governing parties work to rule for long and be liked by their people. Normal citizens aren’t heed who is in power if all the basic services they wanted are provided to them by their government.

It is true that, no government should favor everybody but at slightest point to focus on public interests, current crisis were caused by politicians with their own interests, but weren’t asking for public interests from the government, so that they could get right answers from the government direct, they have chosen violent and that is why they didn’t have any support from the public. They only got shallow minded citizens who are having minds occupied by tribalism, clannishness and regionalism.

It is realized that, the past years 2005-2013 with least development was politically aggravated, those who lost their positions in the government’s main reshuffling of 2013 were part of government for 8 years but turned detractors to the government after their removal. We called this war, a war of positions nothing else.

This time, government shouldn’t joke again with job hunters through violent, supposed should be no reward after rebellion and killing of innocent people only, because of one’s interest to be in a certain position. No one will rebel again if government put in a place a strange and complicated system that will let everybody leave rebellion.

Our foreign relations need too much work, because the diplomatic wound against it is too big to be alleviated and therefore need those who can lobby well to restore distinctive diplomatic friendships with those countries that are isolated from supporting South Sudan government under the leadership of People’s elected President H.E Salva Kiir Mayardit

It will be reasonable for our government not to compromise with those who have double faces within it. Those politicians or technocrats who have double faces are more harmful to the government than those who rebelled and fight the government openly.

Rebels will never accept to negotiate with government for peace in good faith if they didn’t felt the strength of the government. It needs both diplomatic and military strength. If our foreign relations was strong from the beginning of the crisis, this rebellion of Dr.Riek Machar would have been labeled as a terrorist organization, just like ISIS, Boko Haram, LRA and Alshabab.

This crisis needs more explanations for the world to understand it and switch the support to the government directly, rebels and G10 gave different stories to the world. Government officials should campaign against the rebels openly so that they should maintain their positions if they resisted the rebels conspiracy to oust the government of the people.

The government of South Sudan will gain momentum if its top officials including posted diplomats to foreign service, come out openly without wearing two faces, speak truths about rebels in Al-jazeera and BBC to defend the government of the people.

This is what Sudan government officials used to do, they defend their government from any contrasting group, and our government officials should do the same to defend the government of the people.
