Betrayal of Hope
From majestic countless hills
They gazed upon us
Shining smooth blackness
We found ourselves.
Eagle-brave were their eyes
Species of our kind
We found ourselves.
Battles ensued for long
Trenches we shared
For long
One vision, one dream
One hope.
We planted black seeds to grow
A future we could all touch
