Bourgeois Government, Bourgeois Rebellion and Ten Looters in South Sudan

Esir Bol, Juba, South Sudan

Dr John Garang

September 4, 2015 (SSB)  —  When bourgeoisie in south Sudan fight over resources it is merely peasant that suffered the most. For instance, peasant children are exploited by the Sudanese people liberation army/ Movement (SPLA/M) elites to secure or even takes a leaderships positions. This ugly concepts had become a tradition in south Sudanese political landscape, if one wanted to get into leaderships and he/she does not have necessary skills they uses peasants as mechanism for their political achievements. Youth exploitation has been and it is still being practiced by SPLA/M ruling class.

For instance, if the so- called leader is from Dinka tribe he is most likely to exploit the Dinka youth and the same thing with Nuer ruling elite etc. Again, young persons from poor family tree are more likely to join army because it is the only source of an employment. As consequence, a lot of young boys and girls in south Sudan have joined army and police force. As a results of having weak institution Proletariats are subjected to violence, especially girls who are in army and police force.

They are normally treated harshly due to gender difference/inequality, moreover majority of them have experiences raped at some point while in national uniform. As matter of fact, they are been treated as second citizens by their fellow comrades including senior’s officers. There are numbers of cases where ruling figures/ government official used young women as their sex properties/slave, they abuse them sexually, emotionally and so forth. Majority of women who joined SPLA/M are in poor health and mental conditions as result of sexual abuses.

I Believed we the so- called poor and privilege citizens of South Sudan can bring changes we want to see in our country. First, we need to create an atmosphere where citizens can express themselves and be able to demand for the following; Unity, hospitals, Education systems that include everyone, road, training for trading, public housing for disables, and pension for veteran, free health care system for all Southerners etc.

All of these are possible under able government. Unfortunately we have Kiir Mayaardit who is bankrupts with ideas also most of his government official are intellectually disable. On the other side of the coin, we have corrupt turncoat Riek Machar and Ten looters (G-10) who are far away to be an alternative.

Our people are victims of advance America economics model, again this incompetent adoption of capitalist financial privilege model has led to mismanagement of our national resources and gave birth to weak institutions. For example, Dr. Riek Machar expenditures in 2011- 2013 were higher than most president in (IGD) regions, Kiir mayor expenditures from 2011-2013 were and still higher than Paul Kagame and Uhuru Kenyatta put together.

The Ten looter of the Republic (G-10) expenses were higher than Kenyan GDP. Considering all of these mismanagements/corruptions where on earth are we going to get efficient economy? There is no Gross Domestic product (GDP) per capita in South Sudan since all workers are foreigners. Furthermore, oils industries are employing foreign workers and Southern Sudanese peasants are neglected. The saddest truth is Southerners are alienation from a country they fought collectively by greedy politicians.

Our struggle have become a myth before our very eye. Just to reminded you great people of republic Southern of Sudan, that SPLA/M was formed by peasant and few working classes people in south Sudan in order to protect ourselves and our resources (SPLA/M was not formed by Kiir Mayaardit, Riek Machar or Dinka, Nuer rather it was formed by all southerners).

Moreover, this organisation SPLA/M was formed to represent all the peasants and proletariats in south Sudan regardless of their tribe. Therefore, we must disown these two tribal warlords (Kiir and Riek) and aim for unity and economic self-reliance. We have to be realistic in our approach towards development.

For example, Australia was not built by American rather it was Australian men and women who built their country. Also, America was not built by Chinese and china was not built by Canadian. Thereby, why do we want others nationalist to do our work for us? We must find ways to do thing by ourselves! Again, we cannot move forward unless we disown thefts like pagan Amum, Deng Alor, Nyandeng Garang and (G- 10) as whole.

For Kiir Mayordit he will be known as a visionless leader in the history of Republic of south Sudan also as man who will do anything to secure his position with Millions of peasant blood. On the other hand, Dr Riek Machar will be forever known as renegade fascist capitalist who cares nothing less but himself becoming president by all means necessary.

Secondly, this rebellion as nothing to do with Juba genocide anymore. Riek Machar rebellion has become an employment field were young politician are trained to loots, cheat and sleep with multiple women in hotel across East Africa.

Thirdly and to conclude, Southern Sudanese must unite and bring peace to their people, this should be done by grassroots peace intuitive. Also, Army generals needs to be a part of this grassroots peace process. Most importantly, we want rank and filed leadership.
