Father I am underage to do this,

To get marry and have children.

Mother I am unable to bear the pain

Still I am underage for this plan.

Father, why a man of your age,

Mother, why depending on me

As the mean of livelihood,

Father, mother no to this old man.

Father I need education first.

Mother please don’t give

Me to him, I need education

Marry not me until educated.

Father, mother consider my happiness,

Let me grow up and have success.

Father, mother not me the source

Of earnings livelihood, let me mature.

Father, mother let go of tradition.

I need happiness and education,

Not my dowry for you to have a second wife

I want to learn and choose for my life.
