Leave Dr. Majak Alone: Let’s Make Peace and be Safe, Tout Ensemble!

December 2, 2015 (SSB) —- Incidentally, I see folks getting restrained regarding my recent opinion article “Check your factsheet before passing judgment: The case of unfounded hatred and vilification of Dr. Majak D’Agoot” and there is no point of pouring more fuel into a dying flame.
I can say that we are beginning to be seeing where things have gone wrong and are now more keepers of our neighbours than before. You have learnt something from this exchange, which I commend you Buor for. This is where you have used your cleverness (cunning) well, methinks.
On my names, didn’t I say that the name I gave was a pen-name? I was truthful to tell you that because Maboor Guem Yol as name doesn’t exist. But I as a person I exist. I don’t fear you or anything to unmask my identity but I thought I should pay you back in kind to feel the pain and also to know that Cic are more educated than your Aliab allies if the politics of Bor District were to be settled in Yirol.
The Twic have allies in Ciec-Manyiel and you should find that out by yourself. For example, why I call Dr. Majak D’Agoot our distant cousin is because his grand uncle, Maiwak, who grew up among us into adulthood and who later moved to Twic, led our youths against Nuer and defeated the Nuer and kept our territory safe in 17th century because Dr. Majak’s great grandfather and his grand uncle Maiwak were sons of our daughter that married a certain Twic from Pakeer called Akuei. We are indebted to them.
Second, my mother is from this Atem family from which Dr. Majak belongs. I have duty to fight your alliance with Aliab based on the same criterion. Didn’t I know that some of the Aliab who are fighting Dr. Majak are children of your sisters and that some of you including Akol Aguek and Bior have their mothers from Aliab?
If you are looking for an enemy, then you have it now in Ciec-Manyiel. Is this what you want? Let’s make peace and be safe all of us. I will leave you alone once you begin to see this logic. Why not? You are my closest neighbours but I can’t stomach your folly that you have played out on social media for too long!
On whether the names I put together as aliases aren’t Ciec-Manyiel, learn the following:
- Guem: As in Ayual Makoi Guem.
- Yol: As in Marial Chanuong Yol and Dr. Marial Awuou Yol.
- Maboor: As in Kulang Maboor Deng and Maboor Achol Kuer.
