Malith Alier says: “This is like succumbing to Shilluk noise. Gov. Chol Thon was right to reallocate those workers from new states just like was the case with parliamentarians. Can someone tell us that MPs who hailed from either West Nile or Latjor have not gone to their new states? I cannot comprehend why Gov. Chol order is divisive but order 36/2016 is not. This is like being vague about things that matter to the republic. Number one, the kind of “federalism we have does not permit free employment in the whole country. Can someone tell me why all the Governors of 28 states come from the very states they now run? The same to MPs and logically the workforce. Critical thinking is needed here.”

Tuong Abraham says: “Nothing but the usual appeasement techniques in the state house. How can transferring employees to their respective states be regarded as something causing social rift? The employees from Pigi County (including their MPs) were recently transferred from Jonglei State to Eastern Nile and that did not cause any social rift between Jonglei communities and Pigi County. It is hypocritical that the very elites who are concerned about social rift were the very ones who masterminded the Nuer massacre in Juba which in turn led the Nuer to retaliate by killing a number that tripled (or probably more) the number that was taken from them when they went on a ruthless and conscienceless revenge campaign in Bor, Malakal, Bentiu and so many lives of Dinka soldiers who were slaughtered in cold blood in Lou Nuer areas. If Hon. Awan and the president had condemned that act in Juba immediately the war would have not taken long and tens of thousands of lives would have not been lost. If the President and Hon. Awan had been bold enough to rebuke their home boys, Riak Machar would have not got a good reason to successfully mobilize the Nuer behind him in his selfish and brutal quest for leadership. The very voices that are warning against social rift were only heard denying that was no massacre taking place in Juba. Do they really comprehend how much social rift they have caused in South Sudan, particularly among the Dinka and Nuer, and how long it will take to heal? It is time they should confess and repent of their own sins instead of preaching the gospel which they themselves do not model.”

Shani Yallow Nen Borin says: “To clarify on the information appeared on the website regarding warning of minister in the of the president Hon. Awan Guol to governor of Eastern Nile state to cancel termination of employment of citizens of western Nile and Latjor state immediately, he quoted order no 36//2015/dated 2nd Oct 2015 for creation of twenty eight by the president of the Republic of South Sudan. He forgot also include order number no 126/2015,dated 24 Dec 2015 for the appointment of governors of twenty eight states in the Republic of South Sudan, subsequently establishment for committee on assets and manpower division was carry out in all twenty eight states, finally ministry of finance issues summary budget reflecting the workforce in each state, coming to the point western Nile state received their budget according to the workforce and had received the salary of employees of western, it should be admitted that all the employees of the three state were under upper Nile state but after creation of news states all employees were divided into three states however the only employees who remain in Eastern Nile state are citizens of Eastern Nile State, all states in South Sudan did same and it is surprisingly if Eastern Nile State will still host three states employees is to be clarify if our state will be exception in south Sudan. The language used in the letter rebuke the situation, (mistreatment of Shilluk of western Nile state and Nuer of Latjor state by governor of Eastern Nile -Malakal,) this has upset the reader and has incitement language of division.”
