Lol state’s cabinet is the most exclusive cabinet of all 28 states cabinets ever appointed

March 25, 2016 (SSB)  —-  First of all, Congratulations to all ministers, deputy governor, and advisors that have been appointed yesterday march 24, 2016 by Hon. Rizik Hassan, the governor of Lol State. However, after I have seen the list of the appointees, I found that the list of appointees was not inclusive or not representative to all people of Lol State, but just for few constituencies of Lol State.

Therefore, I, as a concerned citizen of Lol State and a citizen of Korok as well,  I decided to write this piece of article in order to point out the mistake that has been done by the people who have selected the Lol State cabinet. You all people of Lol State should know that when Hon. Rizik Hassan was appointed as our governor of Lol State, we all were very excited and happy because we thought that he was going to be a governor for all Lol State people; however, the cabinet that has appointed yesterday proved us wrong for the following reasons below.

First:  The former Aweil west and Aweil North counties were that were combined with Raja to make Lol State were made up of four constituencies in total. They are: Gumjour, Cimel Kuach, and Ajuet Mawutdiing were one constituent and Ayat and Majak Bai was one constituent, Athokthou, Duluit Bol Deng, and Peth Atak were one constituent, and Korok alone was one constituent. Now that Cimel Kuach and Ajuet Mawutdiing decided to remain in Aweil Center, Gumjuor alone will not be considered as a constituent anymore because half of their populations have decided to remain in Aweil Center.

Secondly: According to the Cabinet of Lol State that have been appointed yesterday, Gumjuor alone which is half of the original constituent because Cimil and Ajuet Mawutdiing are not with them anymore, has three people in the Lol State cabinet that was appointed yesterday, Ayat and Majak Bai which is originally one constituent has three people in the Lol Cabinet that was appointed, and Peth Atak alone which does not even make quarter of original constituent, has two people in the Lol State Cabinet that was appointed yesterday.

However, Korok which had one constituent originally of its own, has zero in the Lol State Cabinet that was appointed yesterday, and Athokthou, Duluit Bol Deng that make up more than 80% of original one constituent also had zero in the Lol State Cabinet that was appointed yesterday. Therefore, I think that we, as Lol State citizen, we can see what went wrong here in these Lol State Cabinet unless some of us has some hidden agendas against Korok, Athokthou, and Duluit Bol Deng.

Finally:  I wonder if Hon. Rizik Hassan as a Lol State governor want to treat us as citizens of Lol State equally because there is No way that a governor who supposed to represent all people would announce a Cabinet that does not have a single person from two constituents of Korok, Athokthou, and Duluit Bol Deng. Korok alone has the same size and populations like Raja which has three people in the Lol State Cabinet that has been announced yesterday and Korok also has same size and populations like Ayat and majak Bai combined which also has three people in the Lol State Cabinet that was announced yesterday and Korok was having the same size as Gumjuor, Cimil Kuach, and Ajuet Mawutdiing when they were together.

But even though Cimil Kuach, and Ajuet Mawutdiing had remained in Aweil Center, Gumjuor alone was given three people in the Lol State Cabinet that was announced yesterday. Therefore, my question is where is fairness here?  Was it not the same reasons of exclusives in the Cabinet in Khartoum were part of the reasons why Southerners fought against North? This Cabinet of Lol State that was announced yesterday is very humiliating to the people of Korok, Athokthou, and Duluit Bol Deng.

I think that the new government in Lol State has moved away from the SPLM base because No one in the SPLM base or the people in the village would appoint any Cabinet of Lol State that does not have representation from Korok, Athokthou, and Duluit Bol Deng and how would one be an effective governor of Lol State without those two constituents in his or her Cabinet.

This is how the Cabinet of Lol State was selected:

Raja 3
Gumjuor 3
Ayat & Majak Bai 3
Peth Atak 2
Korok 0
Athokthou 0
Duluit Bol Deng 0
