March 31, 2016 (SSB) —- Once upon a time, lived a man called Bor who was born on the above mentioned date and he was the youngest son of an old man called Monyjang. He was named after the big flood that had swept Monyjang’s home

He was married to Nyantooch, a daughter of mighty River Nile. He lived together with Aliab, the youngest son of his elder brother, Weer’bang’tui who was later renamed Bar’kadhal

Bar’kadhal is a remix of two different things; Bar means River, Lake or any water body. Kadhal (Ghazal) is a small animal possibly from the tribe of a goat.

Bar’kadhal was living on the other side of Bor’s in-law and his resident especial his byre was surrounded by Ghazal and up to today, we, historians widely believes that this place is where the first ghazal was created

Bor’dit had taken long without getting married because his sister’s husband, Murle had stolen the dowry he had paid as bride price to his in-laws. Murle wasn’t happy on Bor at the same time because he claimed that Nyantooch whom Bor had married was his (Murle) girlfriend whom he could have married moreover it was Nyantooch’s mother, River Nile who refused him (Murle) for she believed him a terrible raider of cattle whereas Bor had long betrothed Nyantooch

It was good to marry River Nile’s daughter in order to allow you and your animals (live stocks) stay by her side

That Murle had stolen his in-laws dowry was leaked to Bor by Nuer who had married Murle’s niece

Nuer was a good neighbor to Bor.

Bor had long been rumored to be a mule by his brothers, Bar’kadhal and Padaang for having been in relationship with many girls especially the sister of Peri aka Lokooro, sister of Mundari and sister of Lokoyo but had never impregnated them

Nyantooch got pregnant and produced his first son, Ghok

Three years later Bor’dit died leaving her wife pregnant, Akech was produced and was renamed Athooch thereafter.

Athooch was produced after Bor’dit had visited spiritual Doctors of Adoor’de Manyang Jok to consult him for having not made his wife conceived and had even confessed that his first son, Ghok might not be his son that he suspected his sister’s husband, Murle for the child resembled Murle in characters. The spiritual doctor only laughed while nodding but said nothing, this later made him, the spiritual Doctor to insert his sperms (ignore the language) into Bor such that he (Bor) produces on his behave

Five years later, the family of Monyjang’dit sat to decide who should be given late Bor’s wife, it was agreed that she would be given to Aliab, the son of his elder brother who had lived with him until his death.

Aliab went to bed with Nyantooch and produced a bouncy baby boy, Tui, named after Aliab’s elder brother, Tui-Bol Chol, the one who suggested that,’Nyantooch be given to Aliab’.

Before Tui could scrawl, Aliab eloped with Nuer’s daughter Nyakuoth and run to his grandmother, River Nile for help.

He was sent to the other side of his grandmother where his father Bar’kadhal was

Nuer couldn’t get his daughter, not until recently when his (Nuer’s) offspring claimed to have got Nyakuoth’s offspring in Yirol for speaking a language close to theirs (Nuer). Nuer’s offspring were wrong, those are Atuot, and they have a different story of how they got that language

After Aliab had gone to the other side of the River Nile, no one was to live with Nyantooch, he never returned to take Nyantooch to where the other family members were until today.

One night, Nuer sneaked himself into old Nyantooch’s house and sadly rapped her in revenge of his daughter, Nyakuoth whom Aliab had eloped.

As a result, Nyantooch produced healthy twin brothers, Nyarweng and Hol

Upon hearing this, Murle and Nyantooch’s elder son, Ghok threatened to kill Nuer and so Nuer ran so fast to where he is today

In brief, Bor who had lived and died is widely believed to have either produced nobody. It now seems like everybody has a reason of how he suddenly became Bor’s son when there is nobody of all his sons is his biological son!
