April 21, 2016 (SSB)  —-  One person wounded and 19 herds of cattle are looted in Jonglei state, Twic East County on April 18, 2016. Twic East county commissioner, Dau Akoi Jurkuch told the PaanLuel Wël: South Sudanese Bloggers (SSB) on phone from Twic East county headquarters, Panyagoor, that the Murle tribesmen looted 38 goats and 19 herds of cattle’s in Patiow Village of Twic East, Jonglei.

The youth of the area and organize forces pursue the cattle’s and the goats, now they have rescue 38 goats and 19 herds of cattle’s went away with the raiders up to now they are not recover he said. He said when the youths exchange gunshot with the raiders unfortunately one of the youths was wounded and the gunshot does not affect his livelihood.

This not the first time for Murle criminals to attack the villagers this been an existing for several years; it’s the responsibility of the youths and organize forces to take retaliatory on Murle criminals tribe men and protect the innocent civilians in their villages Jurkuch narrate.

Commissioner says what show that these raiders are from Murle of Boma state is that one of them was killed and was identify to be from Murle because of the traditional marks and the two lower teeth’s were removed.

When the youths of the area and organize forces try to follow the Murle armed men to rescue the over 38 goats and 19 herds and they saw them heading toward Gumuruk of Boma state Jurkuch explains.

Jurkuch promised that the government of the county and state government authorities will try their best to protect the innocent civilians with their properties to make sure that such attacks will not happen in the county and state.

On Monday morning April 18, 2016 in south of Bor town the Murle tribe men from Boma state attack Thiu-Buor village and attempted to abduct two children and they were rescue unfortunately the uncle of the two abductees was killed.

Previously the Murle arm men have also been accused of attacks Nyin-Majok village mainly to steal cattle and attempted to abduct one boy but later was rescue.

On the same date The Murle arm men have also taken some 200 goats and five herds of cattle’s in northern part of Bor county; during the latest attack the attackers wounded four [4] people and one of them was kills.
